Bio

My earliest memories of childhood include those of listening to the stories and tales of the "older folks," as they sat around reliving the old days. I was like a sponge, memorizing every word, or taking notes on occasion. In 1978, I began a quest for family roots and ties. I tramped mountain cemeteries, searched court houses and libraries, and spoke to my family for their memories. I later used the internet as a tool for research. I have been so blessed, as I have learned of my ancestors, and their joys and trials. But I have also connected with my living family and many other researchers, that I would have never met otherwise. My hobby has shown me where I came from, and helped me to see where I am going! I am so blessed to have such a rich heritage of faith and family!
