|I have been "doing genealogy" since the 1970s and have worked up extensive files on residents of Sheffield township in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. I am particularly interested in the Civil War years and before. I also work on my family genealogy.|

This was my pleasure to do. At the same time, I photographed about 25 more and will put them on the FindAGrave website soon. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. God Bless. Candy

Mary and Merritt's son, Zane, passed away in 2009. In his obit Mary was listed as a survivor. That is where I found her maiden name. I have no other info for her.
Zane was their only child. He was born 3 Feb 1949 in Frankfort, Indiana and died 3 Dec 2009 in Bryan, Brazos, Texas. He is buried in Memorial Cemetery, College Station, Brazos, Texas.
Merritt was my 2nd cousin 1 time removed.
(Merritt died in Cyprus, Harris, Texas.)
You are doing a fine job with the memorial. Thank you
