Please feel free to use my photos for your personal genealogy endeavors.

Consort and relic refer to a spouse, usually to women. A consort is a husband or wife of a living spouse. A relic is a widow.

I typically do not put in calculated birth dates from the Aged information on a gravestone. Those dates tend to be incorrect.

I need help with St. Michaels's cemetery, East Elmhurst, Queens county, New York.

latitude and longitude
To add latitude and longitude, click on Edit Plot.

If you leave a space before the values, an error message, "values are not the correct format", will be returned.

Be sure to include the - for the longitude, otherwise the person will be buried in China.

If you download Google Earth (it is free software) and put in the search box the latitude and longitude (for example 38.7338, -86.48588), it will take you to the grave area.

I use Google Earth to find the latitude and longitude. I type in the latitude and longitude for the graveyard and then adjust the numbers until the pointer is on the gravestone.

There is a note on this memorial wondering if she is the same person as Maude or Maudie. The answer is no Maude was a third wife of William Neal. I added a picture of his obituary to show this. I hope this helps. Thanks, Susan

I saw the message about linking Julia to her parents. Can you please explain with certainty how you know this connection to be true and accurate? Such as what documents you might have used. Thanks, Sharon

The stone was broken and repaired so I can't quite make out the first name. I am glad you liked the photos. I will try to translate the inscription

Emmitt Wagner

Thank you so much for taking the photograph of his memorial and, as a result, having more information about this man shared with others about his birth year and that he was married.

When I placed the request I thought perhaps he may have been a relation of mine. However, it turns out he is not - due to birth info being off by several years as my Emmit was born in the 1890s.

However, I still appreciate you taking such a nice photo of his, and his wife's, gravesite. :)
