FINDAGRAVE is such a wonderful site and to think it's available to us for free! Kudos to the members who spend countless hours creating memorials and photographing headstones. I hope to be able to do more of that in the future.|
I believe we should take advantage of all of the resources FAG has generously provided us, like bio's and family memorial links. I hope to be able to document all the information I can ascertain while there is still time, and family members are still living. I just lost my own precious Mother in November 2012 and am all too aware of time ticking away. History is being lost in the seconds it takes to read this.
If I am maintaining a memorial of a family member that you are more closely related to or that you have more first hand knowledge of, please let me know and if there are any photos I have posted that you would like to use, YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION to use them.
**THERE IS A MEMBER WHO GOES BY Diehard (#46809256), real name Jackie Goddard, you can google her. IF YOU SEE ME ON HER FRIEND LIST PLEASE BE AWARE SHE IS NOT MY FRIEND, I've asked her to remove me, but she has added me back in. She takes it upon herself to harass other members, so if you're being harassed by her, know that she has no authority, IGNORE her.

Not at the moment. But I back up any one willing to take her on.

Thank you for you words of encouragement dealing with Diehard.
Sorry, I don't have her memorial so can't link her parents, and no relation to them.

Hi, yes, I know. It is a very shiny granite monument which was hard to photograph, so I edited it lighter and darker in hopes that whoever was interested in it could see the inscription better one way or the other. So I am leaving the photos as is. Thanks for your observation.

Carrie Chetopia Cross Holman was my cousin through the Cross family. aturddog I believe, was her grandson. He may want to sponsor the site, but I am happy with what you did for the memorial.

You are so very welcome.
|kk||RE: Re: Walter Liken Young # 117350357|
Debbie, I just became a member of Find-a-Grave and have not figured out everything yet. Walter Young was my grandfather, and I only added his birth place. William Young is my great-grandfather, and I am still searching for his parents. It seems that he was orphaned at age 6 months and that is making if difficult. I know that you are also interested in Leona Granot, wife of Albert I. Young, who was an older brother of Walter Young. She and her husband, Victor, are also buried at this same cemetery. In addition, Leona and Albert's son, Ernest, is also buried here. I shall send you the picture I have of William Young and his 5 children soon. How are you related to our family?

Debbie, would you send me your writing of the story behind the Starr half heart head stones? I would like to use it for the memorials. Thanks Tony
|S Barger||RE: re: AB Coldwell Memorial# 93908484|
Sorry, I do not know if AB had an American Indian background. As I mentioned before, I was initially researching him in the context of migration patterns of some of the early settlers in Washington County, Arkansas. I have no other information on him. Good luck.
