Bio Photo Annoying....the paper raiders that post absolutely NOTHING in the bio of their memorials, yet have a whole book about themselves on their own profile page. Yes, please, tell me how it is not about the numbers. I expect empty memorials from cemetery lists, however, when you have access to the info and choose not to post anything to save time, who are you really helping?

That's my rant for the day.

AND then there are some, that just don't get it.

Sarah worthington #152791908
Hi there, I ran across a wonderful old newspaper article detailing the lives of three early settlers of Rock Falls who all died in 1902. Sarah Worthington (your memorial #152791908) is one of them. It gives a detailed account of her life from young girl to being one of the first settlers of Rock Falls and to her death.

Would you be interested in adding it to her memorial? I can either try to transcribe it and send to you, or can give you the paper and issue date for you to look up.

Let me know, thought you might be interested in it.

thanks, Kathy

re: Francis Everett "Ted" Crowe
Found a note in my family file that clears up the name. He was called Everett by family members but somewhere along the line he went by "Ted". A family note regarding his father Hubert William Crowe states that he stayed with his sons John, Deane and finally moved to the home of his son Ted (Everett) in Rock Falls. No need to transfer, you are doing a fine job. Bev

Thank you so much for taking these pictures of my Grandmother's grave. We are in Texas so getting to Sterling to do that is nearly impossible! We used to go there at Thanksgiving when my Aunt and Uncle lived on Ave G. and hosted the family get-together many years gone by.
I'm also glad to see that Lundstrom's did find it and put on the Spring basket we ordered a few months ago!

Thank you again for taking your time and making the effort to do this. It is very appreciated!

RE: David Pittman
Uh-oh -- my mistake! There is another David Pittman of similar vintage buried in this cemetery, and he was a member of the 92nd Illinois Infantry. Good thing you nudged me to research a bit further.
