Darrel S. Willey, CBI Veteran, 436th Bomb Squadron
Ms. Hazelton,

For the past 2-1/2 years or so, I've been attempting to assemble a data base for the 7th Bomb Group. My grandfather served as a bombardier with the 492nd Bomb Squadron with the 7th in India. Using his copies of orders, etc. I have amassed almost 4,700 names of men who served with the Group. I have a copy of the 1997 roster of the 7th BG Historical Foundation, and your father's name is among those listed. I have only his squadron designation, and would like to know if you would be willing to contact me so that we might correspond regarding his Army Air Corps service. Most of what I've gathered, to date, about these men can be seen on my website, www.dainthecbi.com. I hope you might visit and determine whether or not my endeavor may be worthy of your assistance.
Thank You. Best Regards, Michael Hernandez

Darius Phelps
Hi Trica,

Thank you for adding Darius Phelps. Darius was my maternal 4th Great Grandfather (DOB:Apr 9/1772 in Hebron CT).

One of his children,Clarissa Phelps(My 3rd great grandmother-DOB: Nov 6/1805 in New York) married Comfort Smith (DOB: Sept 6/1800 in Hartford CT).

One of Clarissa and Comfort's son's, Orsen Phelps Smith (My 2nd Great Grandfather-DOB:Apr 13/1848 in Illinois) married Melinda Jane Miller (DOB:Jul 3/1851 in Illinois).

One of Orsen's daughter's, Lillian Maude Smith (My Great Grandmother-DOB:Dec 9/1874 in Illinois)married Charles August Marko (DOB:Feb 15/1874).Lillian and Charles immigrated to Saskatchewan Canada where Charles was a farmer.

One of Lillians's daughter's, Jenny Delores Marko (DOB:September 1906 in Illinois) was my Grandmother. Delores (as she went by) married Ernest Osmond Hickey (DOB:January 31/1899 in Ontario, Canada). There were farmer's in Paddockwood Saskatchewan.

One of their daughter's, Reta Ellen Hickey (DOB: October 27/1928 in Prince Albert,Saskatchewan Canada) was my mother. My mother married Orville Lee McDonald (DOB:Jun 19.1926 in Montana, USA).

I am so thankful when I can find documented proof for my tree. It has been difficult with Darius and I can't find any birth record on him or his daughter, Clarissa Phelps.

If you have any interest I do have photos of Lillian Maude smith and also Orsen Phelps Smith with all his grandchildren and one with all his children, their spouses and his wife.

You can email me at jackie.read@gmail.com

If I don't hear from you I would still like to thank you for posting this gravesite.

Roush
Wow, your fast - even the message is gone. I am also a direct descendant of Andrew Roush through his son Conrad Roush. I see that you have a previous message from mrwitacre before on a Catherine Roush so I hope that your data makes it into this listing and it doesn't get lost. I really like having the the additional details in a memorial. Thanks for your efforts getting this resolved.

RE: Samuel Catt and Sarah Goble or Coleman
Thank you for the information. My husband descends from Samuel and Sarah Catt's son Solomon and his wife Mary Jane Wilson. Solomon and Mary Jane were married in Hancock County, Indiana. Solomon was a younger brother to Daniel C. Catt. I really appreciate the help! Have a great day!

Samuel Catt and Sarah Goble or Coleman
Good Morning! I recently saw a message that you have a death certificate for either Samuel Catt or Sarah Goble/Coleman, that clarifies what Sarah's maiden name was. Will you share that certificate with me?? My husband descends from them and I have been trying to find proof of her last name. My email is stephji@comcast.net. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Stephanie Ingle

Tuckers buried in Salisbury NH
Hi Trica

I am a 4th great grand daughter of Ebenezer Tucker Watkins born in NH June 6th 1799. He was the son of Abner Watkins and I believe his first wife Mehitable Tucker. I am trying to find more evidence that Ebenezer is the son of Mehitable Tucker. Abner and Mehitable were married in Salisbury NH in Feb of 1799.

Ebenezer married Abigail Thompson born in Salisbury NH (grand daughter of Richard and Hepzibah Hazeltine). Are you a relation?

Thank you for any help you can offer

Angie
