I have been doing family history for about 27 years. I found FAG about 2005 and it has grown to be one of my favorite sites. Periodically my husband and I take trips just to fulfill requests. We are involved in the ongoing project of documenting both Glenwood Cemetery and Hollywood Cemetery in Houston, TX. We are also doing work in Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Lavaca, TX. Please note that the lot numbers that we are using in this cemetery are per the survey done in 1983 by Sammy Tise. They are not the original lot numbers assigned by the cemetery.|

Just found your photo of Emilieʻs gravestone... she died just 15 days after her last child was born. My I use the photo on my private family tree? She is an ancestor of my daughter-in-law. I always give credit to my sources. Thanks so much...

They must have just laid it. It was there today. Next time y'all go to do a section let me know. I stay pretty busy, but if it fits my schedule I would love to come help.

OK; I'll accept the change and then relink him to his mother.

Horace's death certificate shows his mother as Laura House, so I'm not sure why you were wanting to change it to unknown.

I do not live in Houston so I can't commit that much extra time. When I originally started working on this project, researching the unmarked graves was not mentioned. I did photograph all of H1 and H2, which were the two sections that Bob Hague assigned me. Those two sections are totally finished as far as the marked graves are concerned and are posted on Find A Grave. As far as the unmarked graves are concerned, I did do some of them in H1 and H2 as I came across them on the Glenwood Cemetery webpage. I'm sure there are more unmarked graves but unfortunately time is a problem now for me. Thanks for continuing to work on this project.

Thank you for your reply. I have written to the person who created the duplicate memorial (not me) suggesting that he remove it.
The Find-a-grave rules are not very explicit on how to handle duplicate memorials. The discussion focuses on how to avoid creating them, but it does not state how to remove them. They can be removed by the Administrator, but he does not have time to be bothered with that.

Thank you for taking a photo of my grandfather's stone. We were just wondering today if the monument company had placed the stone yet. Then I went to his memorial and saw your photos. Thanks again.
