Bio and Links
Bio Photo We completed a survey of all known cemeteries in McMinn County plus transcribed McMinn County death certificates from 1914-1955.

Surnames we are reseaching: Marvin's lineage = Templin, Click, Bryant, Sisk, Smith, Waddell, Gross. Samme's lineage = Carpenter, Simpson, Hutsell, Julian, Warren
***************************
Whenever we go out to fill a request, we try to take photos of a few of the surrounding burials. Never know when you might help someone find a lost relative. We also take tombstone pictures of any veterans we see, as we try to honor ALL VETERANS regardless of when they served.
***************************
A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken tombstone pictures for us.
***************************
We are always working on adding veterans to national cemeteries. Our way of honoring our veterans.

RE: Betty Jean Shaw Parker
Shaw doesn't even show up on the edit page. But shows on the memorial page in italics, and that means maiden name.

Gertrude & Abell Spalding
Thanks for the photo. The Spalding/Abell families are so confusing since they both married into each others families on numerous occasions. It's a wonder how anyone can figure what is what.

Naturally, my family can claim both and one of the Abells married one of the Spaldings which produced an individual who married into my Phelan line.

Thanks...

Betty Jean Shaw Parker
I know it looks like the parentheses around Shaw indicate it's her nickname, but it is not. She is my great aunt, and I have information from a living relative that her maiden name was Shaw. Thanks for the heads-up.

Hi, Thank you so very much for the great photo of her stone! I never thought I'd get to see it and am very grateful! Thanks also for looking for Belinda's stone. It's so long ago that it's not surprising that it's gone. You do an amazing job for others on find-a-grave! Thanks again! Mary
