I'm really confused about this. This is in Evansville, IN, Vanderburgh co. I think. Either that info is incorrect or there are 2 graves. He is my great uncle and we have been decorating his grave for years at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery in Evansville. I just created another memorial for him because I didn't know about this one. If he is not your relative, can you please transfer ownership to me? Thank you.

Mary Bond (1795-1876)
Heather,

In the book "Bond Genealogy" by Samuel Bond Garrett and in my family records it shows Jesse Bond (Feb 24th 1779 - Nov 4th 1862) married to Phebe Commons Bond, my family records show her spelling as Phoebe. Do you have a record of when Jesse married Mary Bond and what her maiden name was? Are you related to Jesse or Mary? Jesse Sr. is my GG Grandfather on my mothers side.

Sincerely,

Alan Esterline

THREE KILLED IN SHOOTING SPREE, SUSPECT APPARENTLY A SUICIDE
AP , Associated Press
Nov. 22, 1985 3:33 PM ET
COLUMBUS, OHIO COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ Three people were shot to death and three others wounded in a rampage set off by a tangled domestic dispute, and the suspected gunman fatally wounded himself as authorities closed in, police said.
''He knocked on the door, took four steps inside and started shooting,'' said Melinda Kay Blake, 20, who watched the fatal shooting of her 1-year-old son, Christopher. ''He didn't say a word. I can't even describe it.''
Police said the suspected assailant in the Thursday night shootings, Gary L. Moore, was involved in a dispute with the victims, all members of the same family.
Besides Ms. Blake's son, those killed were her sister, Brenda Blake, 25, and Robert Johnson, 42, who was married to Ms. Blake's mother, Hazel.
Mrs. Johnson, 44, and two of Brenda Blake's children were wounded. Tabbatha Blake, 3, was listed in fair condition Friday at Childrens' Hospital, and 2- year-old Samuel Blake was in critical condition at Doctors' North Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was in critical condition at University Hospitals.
Another Blake sister, Mary Ann, 18, was not present during the shootings. She and Moore had dated, and according to Melinda Blake, who reportedly had also gone out with the man, he had threatened two months ago to kill family members. He felt they were interfering with his relationship with Mary Ann, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
Authorities said Moore died about 2:30 a.m. Friday at Portsmouth's Mercy Hospital after his car crashed into a ditch along Ohio 104 while being pursued by Highway Patrol and sheriff's officers.
Scioto County Coroner Dr. Thomas Morris said Moore died of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Morris said Moore's body was being taken to Franklin County for an autopsy.
Scioto County sheriff's deputies said four loaded handguns and ammunition were found in the car.
The shootings occurred about 11 p.m. Thursday.
Columbus police Sgt. Jerry Knobach said the gunman first entered the Johnsons' house, where he shot and killed Johnson and wounded Mrs. Johnson, who was struck by a bullet in the abdomen.
The gunman then drove about two blocks to the Blake house, where the other victims were shot.
