Bio and Links
Bio Photo I like to keep up with the genealogy of my family. My husband and I take flowers out to the graves every Memorial weekend.

"But don't forget the pioneers!
Brave heroes and heroines!
Their graves shall yet be found,
and monuments shall mark their dust,
as sacred earth and ground."

- Wally Garchow -

re: Zellers
Hi, Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. My link to the Zellers is this: Johann George Zzeller was my 5th Ggrandfather and was born and died in PA. His son, Andrew was my 4th G.G and wasa born in Pa but settled in Ohio and is buried near Dayton. Perhaps we are related?

You're welcome....it is in Section 3, toward the back of that section - Last Sunday, I photographed from the back of section 3 and worked West - toward the front of the cemetery. I got about half way there - so, she is in that back 1/2.

John and Eleanor Gilbert
You wrote:

"I believe that John Gilbert is buried beside his wife Eleanor. They had more than one child like it says in the family lore according to Eleanors will. You can email me if you would like to discuss this farther".

I descend from them but have so little information. I descend from their daughter Elizabeth who married Morris William CHAMBERS. Elizabeth GILBERT CHAMBERS died 1847 in Shelby county and her husband moved their children to CA. I don't know where she is buried so been unable to link them. She may be buried by her parents.

I would love to see Eleanor's will even though Elizabeth died 10 years previous to her mother's death and 1 year after her father. I believe Elizabeth, now CHAMBERS died in Shelby county, while John and Eleanor had moved on. So she probably isn't buried by them. Perhaps some CHAMBERS children are in the will?

Would love to get your thoughts.

Ludwig III
Thought you might like to look at the Minsker Cemetery, known formerly as the Pancake Cemetery. Ludwig MInsker III and his son Aaron are buried here, tho Ludwig III's wife is buried at the church cem a few miles down the road. The Peter Pancake land was next to the Ludwig Minsker I land in the 1700's in Clark's Valley, Middle Paxton Twp. The 2 famililes shared the small burial ground.
