Not directly. His wife, Sarah Davenport, is the sister of my 2nd great grandmother.
|Vicki||RE: john eves sr.|
We're cousins! (I'll figure it out on paper later....) thru' 2nd generation of Eves in America--1st cousins-removed. AND also cousins-removed thru' Chandlee Eves & his daughter, Annie, who married a 1st cousin Eves to send my line along another generation....we're double-related in the Eves line.
I was b. Centre Co, PA, spent teen years in Hagerstown, MD. & after college & marriage in VA, & having our 1st home & kids back in MD, we moved West w/jobs--1st to Utah (US Public Health Service, Indian Health Service) & now we live in Wildomar, CA. We've been here 30 yrs. Our boys live in San Clemente & Manhattan Beach. One just gave us our first & only grandbaby...so, we're probably "stuck" here forever :)
I have very VIVID memories of my Great-grandfather Victor Eves. He lived 'til1966 & died while living w/my Grandmother, Bess Eves Ishler, in Bellefonte, PA I have vague memories of his wife, Lulu May Thomas Eves....who died when I was a toddler...but for sure, I could tell you about their home & Victor Eves, who lived his straight-up Quaker life right across the street from the Centre Co. Monthly Friends Meeting House in Centenniel, PA (I painted a watercolor of it one time on a visit "back home" & have it above my fireplace mantel).

Do you mean we're related thru' John Eves the Irish Quaker? I descend thusly:
John Eves 1726 (of DEL, & then Millville, PA) & Edith Yeatman----->
Joseph Eves 1758 and Sarah Parvin---->
John Parvin Eves 1790 & cousin, Annie Eves (dau. Chandlee Eves1797---brother to Joseph..& wife, RAchel Kester)------>
Joseph Eves 1819 (who moved to Centre Co PA)& Hannah M. Schroyer (adoptive dau./ heiress of Quakers Samuel Downing & wife Jane Wilson)------>
John P Eves and Ella Nora Biddle (2nd wife)----->
Victor Claire Eves and (2nd wife) LuLu May Thomas----->
My grandmother, Bessie F.Eves and J. Wm Ishler---->
My Dad, Donald Wm Ishler and Twila J. Harshberger--->
You are descended through John Eves the Irish Quaker's first child, Mary? If so, we are related at least double, b/c I descend through 1st cousins in the first 3 generations....and maybe even more, b/c there were multiple inter-marryings in this family. I am from Centre Co,PA, but have been in the West now since 1982, but return when able to PA to visit relatives.

|Rick Ferris||RE: Masters|
I do not believe that I have been fortunate enough to have run into any of Joseph Master's descendants, except my immediate family, of course.

No,I am not..Are they to you? If so I will be more than happy to transfer them over to you.
|Kim Ehlers||Earl Smith #32877847|
Can you help me understand who Vyrle Smith is? She is not linked to him as a wife. I am making sure she is related to him as I would like to upload a couple headstone photos but am unable to do so without paying to sponsor him according to a message Findagrave gave me which said only 5 free photos. I have asked Andy Myers to remove one of the service marker pics as well.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi - no not related to the May family. If you are wanting me to transfer any records that are family - just use the 'Edit' tab on those records and send me a note - I'd be happy to transfer to family.
Thanks - Linda
