Hi, we are Kevin and Mandy. Kevin is the genealogist in the family, but Mandy is the inscriptionist, typist, and the self-proclaimed cemetery guru. Kevin also pronounces his love of cemetery grave hunting. Mandy loves going to the cemeteries to find family members, or for a quiet walk. |
Seeing that we didn't want all of our efforts to go in vain, we have decided the best place to share our hard work is here on Find-A-Grave. Most of our listings are family of ours, however, some are of people that may be family or are close to family members in the cemeteries we have visited.
If there are corrections that need to be made, feel free to e-mail us, we do not want our information to be incorrect or incomplete.
We hope our information is helpful.
Under the Findagrave FAQ section it states: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This is called there "Family First Policy"
The main Surnames that Kevin is researching are: Lane, Odle/Odell, Goodpaster/Goodpasture, Rader, Grubb, Harper, Larrabee, Lynch, Bragg, Moon, Shoaf, Vanhorn/Van Horn, Helm, Taylor, O'Connor, Dillinger, Simpson, Henderson, Harlan/Harland, Boone and several of the families that tie into these lines.
Currently in the process of walking and marking off several cemeteries in the Saint Louis area. Which means photographing every stone.
Cemeteries that are photographed are: Old St. Marcus Cemetery, New St. Marcus Cemetery, Old St. John's Church Cemetery (Mehlville, MO), and New St. John's Church Cemetery (Mehlville, MO), New (Old) Picker's Cemetery (2nd one now known as a part of Gatewood Gardens), Sappington Cemetery, and Saint Paul's Churchyard. We are currently photographing Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (Oakville, MO).

|Nancy Groceman||Thank you|
Kevin and Amanda, I appreciate the quick response I received with a picture of my Uncle Raymond Groceman's grave in Jefferson Barracks cemetery. I live out of town and was not able to make it to his funeral long ago. I've been working on family history and was curious about his grave.

Hello Kevin & Mandy!
Thank you so much for the photo of Garnett's headstone! I was going to be writing his sister in the next couple of days. She lives in Alabama and I would not be surprised if she does not have a photo. She is 84 and was very close to her brother.
I read in your bio that you are researching Lane and Harper. Would this be via Alfred Green Lane in Texas? My 2x GG parents were Robert Harper and Nancy Lane Harper. I just added Find A Grave records and photos for them in Jackson Cemetery, Collinwood, TN

|Candes Spencer||Thank you!!|
Thank you so much for the picture of Earl R Stirman's headstone. He died in the Bataan Death march in the Philippines in WWII. My family didn't know where he was buried until I found his memorial on here. I have spent the last 2 weeks with my grandmother scanning photographs of family. We scanned over 4500 photos. The morning I left to come home, I got the email about the picture you posted. He was my grandmother's uncle. She was delighted to see it and learn where he was buried and is excited to tell the rest of the family. Thanks again!! It really means so much to us.
