Thanks for showering me with all the Hendersons, not sure how they are all connected, but will certainly research and link these families!

|Bob Scott||John Green|
Here's my info
I do not believe that John Green who married Sarah Burns was a son of Stephen Green and Mary Green. I think he might be the son of Stephen's brother Frederick or their likely brother, John Green In any event, the death certificate of John S. Green does not name his parents. A presumed sister, Elizabeth married John Wright in 1802 in Henry County, Kentucky, and Wright was bondsmen the marriages of Stephen and Frederick. This may explain why John S. Green was buried in the Wright Cemetery
The dates of Stephen and Mary's son John are not known. However, all indications are he stayed in Madison Twp., Jefferson County, Ind., and married Cloe/Clarissa Law, there in 1825. He was born about 1806 from his age in the censuses. In 1850 and 1860, he was in Madison Township and judging from his neighbors int he census, he lived on Ryker's Ridge, which is where several of Stephen and Mary's children lived.
So I can't give you a link just an argument that the wrong John is linked here. If anyone has any info documenting John S's parents, I'd love to see it.
Hello, my name is Tonya Dearth and I recently was in Ghent, KY and remembered that my Grandma was buried there. After doing some research on line I see that my Great Grandma and Grandpa where also buried there, possibly my grandma's brother as well. I didn't find a photo of my Grandma's grace, her name is Frances McIntyre Longdon. Her parents are Shird and Georgia McIntyre. Would it be possible to get a picture of her grave uploaded?

|Ilene Murray||Mattie Coombs Carlisle|
RE: Memorial 31607278; this is Mattie T. Coombs Carlisle. You have her listed as Hattie. If you look closely at her stone, you will see the M's on her and her husband's name match, although they are a bit hard to read.
Mattie was the daughter of Judge Samuel Coombs and his wife, Emma Evaline Mitchell. She is related to many people in the IOOF Cemetery in Carrollton, Carroll Co., Kentucky. If you'd like more information on her or her family, just let me know.
