Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born 1946, Chandler OK; US Army, Vietnam, 1968-69; Ph.D. University of Kansas, 1976; current residence: Tokyo, Japan.

Author of two books of family history: "North of Deep Fork: An Oklahoma Farm Family in Hard Times," which deals with Lincoln County; and "The Fate of Bones: Adventures in Family History," which follows the Pound/Pounds family from Virginia in the mid-1600s to Oklahoma at the start of WWII. Available from Amazon.

I have just published a group of non-fiction stories about early-day killings in Lincoln Co. Oklahoma called "The Lonesome Death of Billie Grayson." It has just appeared (April 2016) and is available on Amazon.com or from links on the website below.

I run a Lincoln County Oklahoma website at http://oakgrove-pleasantridge.blogspot.jp. The Table of Contents for the new book is posted there. And I've made a new website for McCorkle Cemetery in Lincoln Co. because the FAG contributor who controls most of the sites there suffers from terminal inertia: http://mccorklecem.blogspot.jp/.

Right now, I am working on a book about the vanished village of Clematis, south of Davenport in Lincoln Co. It's not by chance that its rise and fall coincides with that of the Oklahoma Socialist Party.

Sorry Wayne, I am not related.. Sometimes I go to the cemetery and take grave photos and will add them to Find A Grave and try to find info so I can link them to family, etc. But I think I saw her obit in the newspaper and added her, because my husband knew her son years ago...She was a very nice lady..

RE: Hannah Ford
Wayne, I do not know of any Pound connections. I have 5-- soon to be 7-- tests on Ancestry and GEDmatch. I have one kit on FTDNA under my brother's name, John Lockamy. My kit numbers on GEDmatch are A373384, A817471, A173218, A107425,and A089859. Are you on GEDmatch?

RE: Hannah Ford
Yes, it was Sheppard. Her father was Thomas Sheppard and her mother was Betsy Pope. Are you related to Hannah? She was my third great grandmother. Her husband was Jacob Ford. Sorry that I did not reply sooner; I just came across your message.---Linda

Wayne, just looking at gggggrandfather Samuel Pounds, Someone has added one of his children by Elizabeth Hite. Was wondering if you could add Elizabeth and her children to your post on Find A Grave.

RE: Hall vs. Hall-Robinson Cem.
I guess that will work. I know there are many many duplicates on Find A Grave. I was going to try and photograph what is called the Hall Cemetery in Trent but there is no road to it and I was not sure how to get to it as it is fenced in. I could see enough of it to see there were not very many graves and I am wondering if there are not 2 different cemeteries. It would have helped if Bill Rice would have photographed the cemetery as a whole when he did the tombstones.

RE: Hall vs. Hall-Robinson Cem.
Wayne,I do not have any memorials set up in Hall Cemetery nor did set it up. Wondering why Bill Rice didn't take a photo of the cemetery as the one that Kendell took only shows 5 graves at the most.

I do know that two of your memorials are duplicates to two that are at the Hall Cemtery.

RE: G.H.G. Pound # 29776007
Sorry, I do not have any other photographs other than what I have already added to memorials for my Pound family connection. A copy of this photograph was given to me from a now deceased Aunt many years ago. Are you related to G.H.G. Pound?
