RE: Headstone name
Hello Michael,

The spelling on the headstone is correct based on the form his wife filled out. It's just not how the family spelled it. There are cases within the same family it will be Snider or Snyder. I think this was just a new way that I haven't seen before.

Thanks for making the updates for me. My Snider family has been in Henry and Weakley Counties since the 1820's.

Debbie

Hi,
I just found this page. I'm currently researching both my mother's and father's ancestors. Daisy and James had a son named Earl, who is my grandfather (he died in 1953, long before I was born). Here is the link to his grave. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=85382638&ref=acom

He and my grandmother's ashes are at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Michael Rea,
Wanted to thank you for adding the memorials for John Jackson Lewis and Castle Dana Lewis. A second cousin of mine stumbled onto the site and connected with me. Not only did she have pictures of John and Castle with their children, but also a picture of Johns parents. If not for you this connection may have never been made. I consider it a miracle, first that you put the memorial on line, second that I found it and third that one of the few other descendants of this line was interested enough to find it too. You have know idea what it means to me. Bless your heart.
