RE: Willard Jefferies
Plot location is section 8, lot 409, 3a. I also have photos of his wife Myrtle, and his parents Willard and June Jeffries if interested.

Willard Jefferies
I took this request because my son was in CAP with Mr Jefferies. The cemetery did not say anything about a cost for looking up a location.

Sorry, I have nothing on this gentleman. "History of Dearborn Co." just has the 1 mention as being son of Col. Zeb and bro of Gen. Zeb.

French Gulch
Roland:

I flew by French Gulch today on the way to Costco and dropped by the cemetery to fulfill a claim for five pictures. I hadn't looked at the Find A Grave list but took an extra half dozen that looked interesting. Turns out the cemetery is only 25% photo'd. You might want to spend a few lunch hours over there 'cause there are a lot of historic names on those markers. I have enuf on my plate on this side of the mountain, so even tho' I'm interested I'm not going to make the trip just to fill my camera.

cheers ....... Jerry

ps... I also play the kazoo...

Galen and Althea Hemenway
I just called the cemetery. They said there is a big tree down out there that's a mess and they are having trouble getting it cleaned up.

I was told that Galen and Althea were cremated. Her cremains are on the right side of his space. I guess neither one have markers, aside from the military one that was provided.

I really appreciate that you took the time and effort to go out to the cemetery. You are worth your weight in gold. It's volunteers like you that make this world a nicer place!

Pardon me for being snippy! I reacted before I thought it thru, you might imagine the surprise when I looked at the site and found MY photo with YOUR name. No harm no foul. I will eliminate the extra photo as well as Ken's, he asked me to take it down. Jerry

Hi:

If I'd known you were going to take the picture I wouldn't have. You should claim any requests you intend to respond to. ..... jh
