Member of the DAR and SGS holding degrees in History & Education. I am working on the women in my family as my main focus. There seems to be no end to searching for the family ties.

I have been working on the family history for over thirty years, following in my Great Uncles footsteps. My roots have lead me to Connecticut, Maryland, Overton Co. TN, Jefferson Co. Kentucky and Norway.
I'm a nice blend of the New and the Old.

I did not find the grave however, most of the stones are illegible and there is a huge pile of old broken stones. Sorry I could not get the photo for you.
Thanks,
Jess

No Chalk was used, it is not allowed by Find a Grave. With Find a Grave the grave has to be left in the condition it was found. You have two photographers who have taken the photo and it comes out the same. The weather was clear with no rain.

I'm sorry you were unhappy with the photo. That is the way the headstone is. I took two hours out of my thanksgiving to drive into the next county to take the photo for you. The photographer cannot help it if the condition of the headstone is less than what you would like. I have taken the photo down.

Yes!
Yes, This is the person I was looking for. Thank You for the information. Helen is actually a Bidwell. Ira is not really her last name. It is kind of a long story. She is my cousin once removed. I do have pictures of her and her family. I also have a picture of Phineas McKey.
Her grandfather.

Question Bidwell Family
Mary, I was wondering what other information you may have on Helen Geyer who is buried in the Willamette National Cemetery. Do you have a maiden name or place of birth? Is she connected to your family? I am trying to verify the relationship. I think she is the Helen I have been looking for but I need more information. If she is I have pictures and lots of family information! Thank You , Caroline

Celia Harrison 108408787
The 1870 can't apply to this person since she died in 1851. The census shows Celia as being age 46 with the last name Story.

RE: Harrisons
Have you ever where & when Ben died? I was told by my g=mother Lauta Jessie Harrison that his wife (Jane Stewart) was a bitch & he was headed home & was never seen again.
She said that her dad thought he went up into Ky., & just stayed there.
