Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born August 29, 1943 in Powell, Wyoming. I joined the US Navy in 1963 and spent 2 years in Southeast Asia in the Philippines and Vietnam. I then attended the U of Colorado for a year and a half under the NESEP program and was then transfered to Europe for 4 years, stationed at Rota, Spain. After that I was sent to Washington D.C. for 4 years. At that time I retired and attended Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, where I attained a BS in Mortuary Science. I owned and operated two funeral homes, one in Moline, Kansas, and the other in Sedan, Kansas, for 26 years. I retired from the business in 2001. I am currently residing in Wichita, Kansas, and am an accountant for Wal Mart Corp.

I am married, the father of two daughters. I have traced my ancestry back several centuries and am still in the process of chasing down my brickwalls.

As a former funeral director, I find cemeteries fascinating and love to contemplate past lives and histories of the families there.

I am more than happy to make corrections and add relationship links but am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to growing misunderstanding of what Find A Grave is about by those discovering the site for the first time. The time members have put into their efforts working together and sharing information is not up for grabs based on same-name surname or lineage and I will not do any of these type of transfers.

Thank you
Del,
Thank you for the transfer of William and Maggie Holeman. My husband was so excited and I know his dad will be also. I was wondering if you could do two more transfers? I was looking at more family history last night and noticed that I forgot to add James H. Brewster (24361012) and his wife, Anna Mills Glenn (23124489) to my last email. Their son, Daniel Frederick, had a special bond with Michael, my husband.

Thank you again for the transfers and I am sorry I forgot to add James and Anna.

Hope you have a good day.

Robyn

William and Margaret Holeman
Del-
I thought I had asked already, but didn't see my message. I was wondering if you would transfer William (24270549) and his wife, Margaret (24270550) to me?
They are my husband's great great grandparents (Their granddaughter, Easter Irene is my husband's grandmother).

Thank you,

Robyn (47479927)

RE: Brawner photos
Del,

I am not related to any of the Brawners. I will gladly transfer management of them to you, if you would like them.

Opal Jean Evans Thompson # 23860982
Thank you for the memorial you created at the Ozro Falls Cemetery on Opal Jean Evans Thompson. If possible, I would appreciate it if you would cause the following obituary to be posted:

STROUD, Okla. - Opal Jean Thompson, 92, of Stroud, died Dec. 5, 2000.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ozro Falls Cemetery near Hewins. Jim Thompson will officiate. Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Stroud is in charge of arrangements.

Thompson was born July 27, 1908, in Oktaha, Okla., to May (Moore) and Wiley Evans.

In 1934 she married Charles H. Thompson in Pawhuska, Okla. He died May 29, 1986.

She was a resident of Stroud for the past year, moving there from Hominy, Okla., where she had lived since 1947.

Thompson retired in 1988 after working in Tulsa for 30 years as a secretary and for 25 years as manager of The Office Service, a telephone answering and secretarial service.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tulsa.

Survivors include a son, Jim Bob Thompson, Stroud, Okla.; a sister, Biffle Gordon, Cedar Vale; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Elisha Seat
I searched the graveyard and did not find a marker with Elisha Seat; however, there are a few markers of just natural stone without inscriptions. I will check with the Church office to see if they have any information. Best regards, Dwight Price 7/4/16.

George is not on the Green Lawn Cemetery index.
His brother Frank is buried at Forest Lawn. Is there a chance that George is buried there too?
