Because I Could Not Stop For Death
By Emily Dickinson
Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility.
We passed the school, where children strove
At recess, in the ring;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.
Or rather, he passed us;
The dews grew quivering and chill,
For only gossamer my gown,
My tippet only tulle.
We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound.
Since then 'tis centuries, and yet each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity.
Thank you and God Bless.

You are very welcome. Glad I can help. And thank you for all you do for find-a-grave. Your hard work is very much appreciated.
Good morning to you!
In my world, if the name and/or dates do not match, they are NOT DUPLICATES. You might have taken those photos, I don't know. I am talking about your high numbers, those numbers:
• 25,013 Memorials Added
• 26,699 Photos
Are nearly impossible for your time on Find A Grave without steeling someone else's work. I know! I know the time it takes to do your own work! Because I do my own and personally go to grave yards and copy from the markers.
I have to vent my issues with you on here because like I said, you are hiding on Find A Grave by not leaving a public contact e-mail, I have no other way to contact you but on here!
My rant came from you being relentless!!! I will no longer respond to you or your corrections! OH! My email is email@example.com . See I am NOT hiding. Got it?
|Elizabeth Verchio||Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery|
on Warrior Jasper Road, Warrior, AL - I thought you would want to know that the Church has disbanded and is no longer meeting. The cemetery is also closed to burials except for plots already designated.
The annual 3rd Sunday in May Decoration singing and dinner is still held there.
One of the reasons for sending this to you is the photo of the Church Sign you posted on the findagrave.com page for Union Church is not appropriate anymore. Possibly you may want to remove it, maybe you can take a new photo and add it in place of the current one?
Thought you would want to know.
|Keith & Lynne||Alfred B. Gardenhire|
Thank you for linking him to his parents!
|Lisa M.||Transfer of Management|
Thank you for the transfer of Management for Ernest and Bertha Gorff. I do appreciate that you have maintained their records for quite some time. If there is anything I can ever do for you, please let me know. Sincerely, Lisa M.

Sorry, I do know that duplicates are not supposed to be up on here, but I live here in Sequatchie, Have personally surveyed every cemetery here. If the dates and/or name do not match, I will not delete them because the information needs to be there and there is a possibility they are not the same individual. I also do my own work and pictures, I don't take from others to boost my numbers. Please double check names, dates, dates of postings, and any other information before you ask me to make edits. Oh! and I don't hide on find a grave! You can e-mail me direct. Thanks!!!

I was just adding my husbands death and saw that the two of you were on the same line

Both Benjamin and Ruby Prater have been removed. Again, I apologize to you.
|James L. Hahn||Prater graves|
I am so sorry about the duplication of Ruby and her husband. I did not know it was not allowed (though I suppose I should have).
Ruby Prater was my Grandmother's sister.
I will happily remove both memorials.
Would you be nice enough to link Ruby to her father, Samuel Rutherford Freeman? He is buried in Birmingham. Ruby was one of 8 sisters - on the last try, they finally had a boy and he was given Ruby's married name as his middle name - Edward Prater Freeman.

Amos Adair is my grandfather. Would you consider transferring sponsorship to me? Pam
