Please be a contributor to Findagrave and not just a manager of someone else's work. It's funny that people write all they have is what's posted on a memorial. Well folks - if you took the time and researched you WOULD find information to post & link family. Believe me, it's NOT that hard! In others words you ARE a manager and NOT a contributor. Please don't claim to be a historian and/or genealogist when you do NOT post any info on your memorials.

There are some people, and you know who you are, that follow 'guide lines' in transferring memorials. You must be a numbers person! And for those people who criticize the photos posted and appear to be strickly a numbers person - SHAME ON YOU TOO and are a PITA!! If they aren't your relatives, why should you care. So, as the saying goes, 'if the shoe fits, wear it'. Now if you abide by the Findagrave guidelines for transfers, then so shall I.

Additionally, If you are one of those folks who disables your messages and has no email address listed, in other words, NO WAY TO CONTACT, absolutely 'no suggestions' will be acknowledged. If you are anonymous, then you do not exist. Nothing personal, but sometimes I need to confirm things. If I cannot communicate with you one way or another and you cannot be bothered, that is fine I understand.

I and relatives I know constantly scour records and family records IN OUR POSSESSION. What is added is what we have checked and double checked. When we find documents that are exceptionally interesting and realize other relatives haven't had access to this information--we post it to their memorials.

I am a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, with over 28 years of federal civil service. To keep myself busy, I became a navigator/logistics specialist on my husband's rig. I am also the proud wife of a retired Army soldier and the very proud mother of a soldier, who was injured by an IED explosion and completed his tour of duty in Iraq.

It's the soldier, not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the Press. It's the soldier, not the poet, who has given us Freedom of Speech. It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate. It's the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the Right to a Fair Trial. It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag. ~Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC~~GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

If there are memorials I have created or maintain who are your family members, please send me a message and I will be more than happy to transfer them to you-no matter your blood generation; EXCEPT, IF THEY ARE IN MY FAMILY TREE, MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY OR MY ADOPTED MOM'S FAMILY, then I will maintain the memorial(s).

The photos I post on Findagrave and may be used by one and all at any time, although no money is to be made from my photographs. Photo credit would be appreciated! This is a site for all to cherish for future generations with headstone photos of distant relatives never known and now, never to be forgotten.

Diehard is Jackie Wilson Goddard & thanks.

RE: 5th GGGrandparents-Larimer
Hi! My 4th GGFather was Thomas Steven Larimer, Agnes Nancy's brother. He married Rachel Stevens. Their son Robert Stevens Larimer was my 3rd GGFather. He married Eleanor Williams, and their daughter Mary Larimer was my 2nd GGMother. She married John Wesley Morrison. That generation has some mystery. Mary died young, sometime between 1880 and 1890, and John Wesley died in 1886. There is a story he was killed in a railroad accident. But I haven't found any documentation of their deaths, and haven't been able to find their graves. Their younger children were split up among relatives. Their son Edward Ellsworth Morrison was my Great-grandfather.

RE: William Henry Faulkner's Grave stone
I always knew that I was adopted, but then the adoption agency sent me a little bit information on a couple of people. I worked on it for 2 months straight. Ended up finding a half brother who lives in Florida and also a half sister who lives in Pennsylvania. I did a lot of work and found so many interesting things. It's fun and very addicting (as you know).

RE: William Henry Faulkner's Grave stone
I've never heard that name before. I was adopted and found out that William Henry Faulkner was my grandpa. He died 2 months before I was born. Have fun searching for records. Once I get started on searching on, I have a hard time stopping. There is so much history to be found!
