Bio and Links
Bio Photo Generally, out of respect for survivor privacy, I have limited my online photos to those gravestones that are at least 50 years old. If I created a page, it's likely I have pictures. On request from a family member, I will gladly post any pictures I have. Please email me directly and provide either the memorial number or a link to the page you're interested in.

Also, if you are a family member and would prefer that a memorial be removed, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll also be glad to respond to any questions, corrections, additions and/or transfer requests. Please use the "Edit" and "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" links. Please be patient; I get a lot of mail.

PLEASE NOTE: When you send me additions and/or corrections, I MUST reference you as the source of that information. You have the option of choosing a screen name for privacy. If you don't want your real name used, please sign up for an anonymous screen name with findagrave, and I will use that. I often get emails questioning my sources, and, although I will never give out your email address without your permission, I must be able to contact you if necessary. If you don't provide some way for me to respond to your requests, I will be forced to ignore them.

Some photos, particularly closeups, may be computer-enhanced to aid readability. I may also edit photos to remove extraneous matter such as bird droppings and grass clippings. In some cases, I may digitally "repair" broken stones.

Note that GPS coordinates are not exact, but they should put you within approximately 30 ft. of target.

Permission is granted to use my photos for personal use only. Please contact me for other purposes.

John Bush corrections
Thank you so much for creating the memorial for John Bush, born 1767. I have a copy of his cemetery record which will clarify two corrections I have requested on line. He was born in Winchester, VA (not Lancaster, PA) and he died at East Bend, KY (not Last Bend). I have upload the image to the find a grave memorial.

Best, Robyn Manzini

I'll just send the info via Edit button. Thanks for the info, I will continue to search for his wife. It's odd that she isn't buried there since my records show she never left Putnam County, Ind. She is the only one of the family I have not found.

Reginald Day
Elizabeth Stoner Day
Hello, I have had a grave memorial for Elizabeth since 2009. I just noticed yours precedes mine by some 5 years. I am deleting mine. If you wish to consider the following I make it available here. (Inscription: )
, Wife of Josiah W. Day 44 yr 9 mo 17 da :'Our father has gone to a mansion of rest. from a region of sorrow and pain in the glorious land by the dully blest, where he can never suffer again."

Note: From grave transcriptions p 141 of the papers of Chalmer Dewey Day abt. 1961
Again I am sorry about the duplication. Reginald Day

I copied the gravestone and added to his wife Allie Jones 24726845. I hope that is ok. I requested it and notice there was a photo on his and I deleted my request for a her gravestone photo.

I gave you credit for the photo.

Thank You for that you have done.

removal of Burial Date disclaimer
I appreciate the reminder to remove that disclaimer, as I know I do occasionally forget. But if you ever do a bunch of them, you might just check the next day to see if they're still there, then send a reminder. As you know from receiving the automatic edits, when an addition or correction to a date is sent, both the old and new dates are shown. Since I knew that I had many thousands of such disclaimers in as many as 20 cemeteries, I very early got in the habit of looking for a change in the day on death dates, and of clicking on the name to open the page and remove the disclaimer before accepting the edit.

But of course I still miss some, and welcome all corrections and additions. I just didn't want you to spend a lot of time sending multiple reminders if you ever do send lots more death date corrections. The new--well, it's not so new any more--editing system sure saves a lot of time on both ends, doesn't it?
