We believe our ancestors want to be found, as much as we want to find them.|
We have photographs of all the headstones in The Abbey Cemetery, Loughrea, Co. Galway, Ireland, as well as, a complete copy of the "Register of Internments of The Abbey Cemetery", and are in the process of uploading them all. (July 2011)
We have photographs of all the headstones in the Hickman Cemetery and the Holland Cemetery, Lancster County, Nebraska. We also have been given permission to photograph the complete Internment Register for the Holland Cemetery, and will be uploading all of the above soon. (September 2011) Project completed January 2012.
All photos we posted are yours to have and share! We found many of our relatives on FAG, that we never would have found on other sites, so we want to 'give back' by volunteeing our photos. We hope you find your 'grandpa', too. FAG is an excellent way for people to help people find their relatives.
April 14, 2012: The message from Jeanine will be left up. I have a rather lengthy reply, but invite others to view the 2 memorials in question and comment at will: Herbert Fehr #83536480 and Ferdinand Fehr #83536479. In a nut-shell, the boys died 129 years ago, as infants, and there ARE no biographies loaded.

I have been looking for this memorial for a while now. My Mother's side of the family is Fisher's and she will be overjoyed to know that you have located some of her family. See - - long story short my mothers' mom left her & the brother's when they were very young.
Anyhow, I don't have as much time as I would like to dedicate to this cause and my family which is why it's so wonderful to have people like you to help us out.
Please if you don't mind transfer this memorial to me. It would be so appreciated by me.
|Sue Schultz||Mortensen, Anna request|
Hi, You requested a photo of a headstone for Anna Mortonson 1856-1936 at Roseland Cem near Marion, WI. However, I already posted a photo that shows the last name is spelled Mortensen on the headstone.

Fannie (Johnson) Dulin, my grandmother, was the daughter of Mathew Jasper Johnson. I have a picture of him and his wife, Mary, and daughters at their "Boston Restaurant" in Norman, Oklahoma (probably when it was still Oklahoma Territory). I also have portrait photos of him and his wife, Mary. I would be happy to share them with you.
|Roger Guillemette||RE: William Richmond #25675280|
I can't take credit for that great photo ... one of my colleagues did the hard work. However, two photography tricks are to use a metal mirror (unbreakable) to reflect light onto the stone and a squirt bottle (water only!) to wet the stone to bring out the contrast. Fortunately, the Richmond cemetery is on private property, not accessible to the public, which certainly has helped to preserve the fine detail of this masterpiece.

You are welcome.

Mary, Feel free to use any photo I have added. I appreciate you asking! Best of luck with the book! Have a blessed day! Cheryl

I made a notation, on the memorial, of the differences in the birth date and death date. Thanks for the information.
That is a picture of Frank, his wife Cora and their son, Glen. Annie Greeley married Cora's brother John.
