I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years. |
I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole.

I transfer him to you so you can add his bio

You are correct, she's not in Swiney Cemetery, she's in Cedar Grove with her husband.
I read her Find A Grave obit and it states her interment was at Cedar Grove.
I sent a note to the Find A Grave contributor requesting a cemetery name change. I'll delete this request and when it gets corrected to Cedar Grove, I'll request the photo again.
Thanks for flagging this.

May I please have your permission to post the photo of Martha A. Chilton on my Ancestry page? I will, of course, give you credit! Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave!
You are welcome, if you need anything from Mississippi Co. let me know and I will do my best to help.

I'm pleased to do so - John McDonald is my great grandfather

#18308299 - This is Annie Ethyl Mansfield Fry - born in October of 1889 rather than 1899. She is 10 years old on the 1900 census, so you might edit this record. Thanks.

Frances Catherine Ware Craddock had a 2nd husband. His name is John C. Popple. She is probably buried with him.
