RE: Simpson Wills
I have added the information that you requested but I haven't changed the death date to 1920 since my information says 1927. Please confirm this death date. Thanks, Nancy

|in memory of grandma||Jacob Alan Dickinson|
Dear Larry & Nancy Brooks,
Thanks for hooking up this man with his parents as well as the transfer. I also want to thank you for the obituaries. Obituaries make it possible to not only learn about the man, but figure out more of the genealogy. In this case I have been learning quite a bit about this family. (I'm related via this man's mother's maternal grandfather.) Unfortunately, this man's son has passed, but his daughter is alive and I have corresponded with her. She is an accomplished writer who has even written a fictional historical novel influenced by her Dickinson ancestors. Which I found to be interesting: http://www.lindaspalding.com/
Again, thank you for all your efforts.

Thank you for the information on Lora Yeager. If you ever come across information on her husband, Oliver A. Yeager, that would be welcome. I am still searching for their markers at Valley View, the information I have came from another source. There is another Oliver Yeager (b. 1916) who is not this one, but who also lived in this area.

Me too - re losing family in the flood - and I have found proof of some stones being moved to other cemeteries. It was a tragic time. I think I will do as you have done. Thanks for your help.
Hi Nancy, thanks for the transfer. I'm okay with you holding on the them if you want to keep a big family all together, so let me know. If not I'll take good care of them for you. I really appreciate all the work you've done. It really helps me in finding more about my family history. Have a great day!

|C. L. Roth||Elizabeth Wolf Griffith|
Dear Larry & Nancy:
Thank you for your wonderful photos of Jenner Baptish Church graveyard. So much of my family! I believe the Elizabeth Wolf Griffith you asked about was the wife of Jesse Griffith b 1763, son of Thomas & Eve Faulkner Griffith. I do not know Elizabeth's ancestry. Jesse was disowned by Menallen Meeting in April of 1787, probably for marrying out with Elizabeth Wolf. Their children so far as I know are: Thomas Grifrfith m Sarah Hendrickson; Jesse m Susanna Pilson; Joseph m Lydia Rowe; Eve m Elijah Adam; Rebecca m Philip Heiner; Elizabeth m John Mickle; Margaret m Francis Hammer. No, I'm not related. When I went to take photos at Hopewell Cemetery I wanted to photograph all of the headstones that had memorials already built to make the trip worth it. Once I started poking around, saw that Jeremiah was linked to John Walter and saw that he was buried at Grandview, which I live 2 miles from up here in Westmont, so I went over there, too.
