I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!|
King James Version (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Thanks you for the photo and the transfer. Yes, our families were friends. We met the Sisks on vacation in the NC mountains. His parents and mine became good friends. Sadly, I had to learn about his passing years after from people other than his family. He had been sick for a while and his parents never mentioned it. Made me even sadder because I would have wanted to talk with him before.
Again, thanks for the photo.

|Tiffany N. Joyner-Island||Help me please!!|
Hello Johnny my name is Tiffany N. Joyner-Island. I dont know anyone on my fathers side and I am on the hunt for any of my family members that come from this side of my family because I dont know anyone. My father's name is Edward Lavert Joyner (living), who is the son of my grandmother, the late Euphemia Anglyn Gray-Joyner, who is the daughter of the late Euphemia G Gray who is my great great grandmother. I never had the pleasure of meeting my great great granmother or my great great grandfather George W . Gray, her husband, since they both passed before I was born in Oct. 1987. I did have the pleasure of meeting my great aunt, their other daughter Grace Gray-Johnson before she passed in 1995 in Tallahassee, FL but the other great uncles George and Robert I did not. If you could help me find any living family I'd love to meet them. I am 26 and I live on the southside in Jacksonville, FL with my husband and we are expecting our first child on Dec. 1st and I want to be able to introduce my son to not just my mothers side of the family but my fathers as well. Anything would help. Thank you for your time.
I don't have any info, but you can contact the genealogy dept at the John F. Germany library. (813)273-3652
