At this point in time, regretfully, I will only claim requests for (Old) Tacoma Cemetery (not New Tacoma) or Mountain View (Lakewood) Pierce County, WA.
*************** NOTE: I do not automatically approve corrections as I have found that some that are suggested are not correct.
*************** A REQUEST - if you would call and get the location, it would be appreciated and add it to your message when requesting or ask the owner of the site to post it in the plot field. ************************************
If you find any errors, duplications or bad photos (covered with debris or moss) that I have taken, please let me know and I will do what is appropriate. Some memorials don't photograph well but I try to get the best shot of them.
My family tree includes the Ritchey (Richey,Ritchie?), Temperley, Molinder and Stenborg lines and has expanded from there to include to many to mention here. The Ritchey history begins with Memorial 58729129. At this point the Temperley line begins with Memorial 18962125 but hopefully more to come. And the Molinder history begins with 66797509. If anyone has any additional information about these lines, please feel free to contact me.
If you are a relative of any of the names I have entered other than my own family line and would like them transferred to you for maintenance, make the request through the EDIT button on their site then the Suggest A Correction link and copy your site ID into the message as it makes it much easier for me to then transfer.
RE: your irish roots for ireland church records do a google search for national library of ireland. click on nie. ie link. then click on catholic parish records in list on left side of main website. then click on catholic parish registers in nil, at end of article on the page. then enter a parish town name. oe see map below it with irish counties & parish locations. click on a town name in map. then click on parish town name. then click on parish baptism books. church books seem to be double pages images. if zoomed up too big, you only get one of two pages in view. many entries have galic spellings of surnames etc.. hopefully they will get to digitalize marriage records next.
RE: Miles, Robert Scott, Sr. i looked at his sons pension application on fold3 website. no clues there in file. im wondering if he has a wayne co., illinois probate file. either in a envelope or transcribed book form. sometime probate files have notes or receipts for burial expenses. mortiscians or cemetery plot expenses inf.. etc.. many veterans govt. head stone only have given name initials & no death date. & only state enlisted in on stone.
Thomas Gossett The photo on his page is not good. The whole top of the headstone is cut off and features more grass than headstone. I plan to take a picture of it upon my next trip to Normandy, so it's almost a reminder for me to do it than a request for someone else, but if someone beats me to it and takes a good picture, all the better.
RE: Peter Holden and Agnes Hay Yes, I have Jeanne Bingham Holden in my tree. I have been able to find documentation for her grandfather (and my 4x great grandfather), David Holden, with his parents names - Peter Holden and Agnes Hay. I've searched all the trees on ancestry.com referring to them but none have sources. So I'm try to find sources for them - that's the brickwall.
