Greetings to you, |
The last thirteen years I've been restoring cemeteries in Tippecanoe County Indiana. My webpage is linked below showing my projects. I have also done the GPS locations in Tippecanoe County cemeteries and photographed in all of them. You will find my overall photographs on 90% of Tippecanoe County sites here on Findagrave or on my pages below.
PLEASE use the EDIT buttons for updates to burials. Please feel free to add your own photographs or original obituaries and let me know about updating information.
Polite requests are much more likely to be responded to. Mean-spirited contacts will likely be ignored. Don't demand.
I am currently working on cemetery books for our library shelves for Springvale and Greenbush cemeteries in Lafayette. Several people have helped to finish Ruth Neuman's 2003 project on Springvale. There are many errors in the records that were used that reflect differently on the tombstones, obituary or other records. Please help everyone make information better by adding your gravestone photographs. Then send your corrections by using the EDIT button. Together we can make it better.
I will go back and delete dups for Springvale and Greenbush. Thank you all for your photographs. They really help to add better information.
While your out in the cemeteries, take time to look for the handcarved rocks and homemade tombstones as they mark the graves of someones early ancestors. They may have just been passing through on thier way to the West. Please don't move them, but photograph them for record preservation. I've found several and usually do find handcarved and home made stones too.
I'm grateful to Find-A-Grave for this site and opportunity to share the history. Our cemeteries are still distroyed everyday. So please take the time to contribute in your area if you can. It helps preserve family history for everyone and future generations who comes searching later.
I am a Genealogist with the Indiana Genealogy Society, Tippecanoe County Historical Association & TIPCOA Genealogy Society.

i like to know who runs the cemetery out there i need to ask some ? to them. can you help me randy gravitt
I have removed the Concannons from West Point, but I moved my photos to your entries. If that's not okay, just remove them. I added these some time ago, not realizing the mix-up in cemeteries. If you find anyone else, just let me know.
Thank you so much for the photo!
