I live in Wittmann, Arizona. I am married and have four children and 10 grandchildren. I love to volunteer my time serving others. I love family history and reading about the lives and interests of people. I am very interested in getting cemeteries listed on Find-A-Grave.com so people researching their family history have records. I also work a lot with FamilySearch.org and add a lot of information into that site. If you cannot find who you are looking for, try that site. Also, add any relatives to this site if you are a direct line descendant. Millions of people are on FamilySearch.org daily.|

Hi, I noticed you have a record for Thomas H. Smith at the Indiana Soldier Home in Lafayette Indiana. I have been researching him and have a tombstone record from Ancestry that states Thomas H Smith Co D 50th reg. Ind. Inf. This record is from the "Headstones provided for Deceased Civil War Veterans 1879-1903" and it states that he died 21 June 1898. This information comes from the National Archives in Washington.
Can you tell me why this stone is in the WWI area because even if he died in 1900, this was before WWI?
Not sure if you are working from WPA records or from the home itself. just trying to figure this out. Thank you, C True

Thank you so much Anne for transferring my Dupree family to me.

Happy Mother's Day! I also live in AZ. Do you belong to AZFHS? Joseph & Delila were my maternal
grandmother's maternal grandparents through their daughter Minnie. Joseph is my civil war grandfather, and they are the first set of gggrandparents I ever researched. John is their son (my grandmother Delilah' uncle) who was killed in the Spanish-American War in the Philippines. Minnie named her daughter, Delilah Amanda(my grandmother)after her mother. I have copies of the military pensions of both Joseph and John, and Minnie is named on Joseph's. And I have a letter from the cemetery verifying that John is their son.
I hope you will consider transferring this family to me.

I have more to add to his memorial as well. I need to get on that and some others related to the same project. I'be been distracted recently by a breakthrough in a line of my ancestry and have been using my time following other leads. Sorry for the delay in updating his memorial.

Thanks for the transfer, Anne.

You've entered him twice. Would you delete one?
Thanks. Preferably not this one as I connected this one to his wife. Thanks

I believe this may be my great-great grandfather and wonder if you have access to information on him. Anything would be helpful!

Anne, I am related to the Sala's. My great grandmother is Effie Mae Sala, daughter of Nathaniel Burlington Sala and Virginia Brazeal.I have more pictures to post, but some of them I have not been able to find where they are buried. I also have pictures of some of the Breazeals, but have not been able to find their graves either. I am very interested in seeing the pictures you have . I have information on the Sala's. Let me know how I can help. Nick
