Cemeteries are where i find peace. I find it relaxing to walk the aisles and when time permits, i take photos and add memorials. The only cemetery that i do not place photos on is Holy Innocents in Beach Haven, NJ as the rector has requested that only photos of his parishioners during a happy time in their life be posted. I have honored his request. Any memorial not related to me is available for transfer if you are a relative and will maintain and update it. Have a fabulous day :)
Thank you Thank you for transferring Harry Snyder's memorial to me. You did all the work. You are a very thoughtful person to help so many with their ancestor seeking. My grandmother would be so pleased about this information. Karen
Harry W Snyder & Emma Kate Shannon Emma Catherine (Shannon) Snyder is my Great Grand Aunt. I knew she had lived in New Jersey but I didn't know her death date. I knew her mother lived with her a short while and died in New Jersey but she is buried in Pa. Emma Kate Shannon was born 7 May 1872 That comes out of the Hartley family bible written by her sister. Thank you so much for this information. You do good work and I'm glad you take pictures of memorials so people like me can find our family to honor and remember them. I enjoy the peace of a cemetery also.
RE: Isabel H Leyes 92549658 Hi, I spotted the 2nd notice abt. Isabel's husband later on but was to groggy to think straight so loeft it for today.
Poor guy either had no stone or it may be one of those flat, with grade stones.
I recently went hunting one of those for a WW II KIA brother of my late father-in-law & found it buried under 7" of soil! Amazing how far that stone had sunk over the years of freeze - thaw cycles!
Same here w/the trees & acorns. Had the 1st acorn/windshild strike of the season the other day & it startled the heck out of me! Our sugar maple out by the road is starting to loose random leaves, too & the ahs trees had started loosing thier deep summer green abt. a week & a half ago. They're always the last trees to get leaves & the first to go naked.
I hope you're wrong on your winter prediction. After last winter w/the ice damning, I don't want to see winter start until Dec & would be very glad if it ended in Feb. I really need to move further south!
I'll have to delete that request so no one else wastes effort trying to find what isn't there.
Thanks for going the extra mile walking the cemetery searching for Charles, esp. in the humidity.
I added the photos but they don't look to good. The O'Connor plaques are about 15 feet up the wall. If you can take better pictures of those let me know and I will delete the ones that I have added and have a good day..Horace
Just to let you know I had taken the pics and I wn't add them on since you claimed them yesterday. The O'Connors and Slatery's are in the new Mausoleum as you first walk in on the left where the ashes are. Look up high. The Lech stone is by the office several rows back and its kinda red. This should save you a little time hunting and have a good day..Horace
