Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up having picnics in cemeteries while on road trips. We use to take paper and rubbing crayons so that we could rub THE BEST headstone we could find we found some cool ones. I have found so many wonderful things here at Find a Grave that it is time to try and give back a little so all in all this seems like a good fit. I work at our local library, volunteer at the local historical museum and have friends who have gone whole hog into genealogy and I am catching the fever. I would like to help someone else like me who is just getting started by finding a family members headstone to give them definitive birth and death dates what a help that has been for me. I have a Golden Retriever that loves to hop in the truck and explore right along side me so let us know if we can be of any help in your search.

S Bull
Hi Karen,

You contacted me a few months back about transferring a memorial for "S Bull" who is buried in Montrose Cemetery to you. I do not know if S Bull is related to me or not. I have been on the look out for a Samuel Bull who died in Montrose in 1875, no death record exists and I don't know where he was buried. I did find an S Bull in a book of cemetery listings of lot owners for the old part of Montrose Cemetery. I then contacted Fred Domine who confirmed the burial for S Bull. You will see the information in the bio section on the memorial. Fred Domine confirmed S Bull was buried in Feb 1907 at the age of 67. Now of course I don't if a female or male. I checked and can find no death certificates for that name and death year. I do have a copy of some names that I received from your museum where a headstone (CW era I believe) was requested for not only S Bull, but some other names as well, however S Bull today does not have a headstone as I understand. So if a CW headstone was requested then S Bull is a male. I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you, but I ask that the remarks I have in the bio remain untouched until we know more about this mystery person. Please feel free to add annotations. -Regards, Patty

Edna Alicia Gair
Hi there
I noticed 2 memorials that are similar in the Hillside Cemetery.
Edna Alicia Gair, memorial # 108868679.
Eda Alicia Gair, memorial # 110579145.
I uploaded a photo to the Eda memorial as that is the way it reads on the stone. There are 2 other names on the stone, Alexander and James Carew.
Could it be a misprint on the grave marker and both memorials on the website are for the same person.
