Peggy, Do you happen to know who Eliza Hourine Godwin's parents were? My husband is a direct Godwin descendent. The family has lived in and around Fayetteville, NC for two hundred years. Thank!

I am wondering if you can find out any more about this memorial. I think it is a person I am interested in, and I could link him to family members. Because of the "common" name, I don't want to risk it, until I know for sure. The John C. Miller I am looking for was born August 1856/1857 in Hicksville, Defiance County, Ohio and was living in the 1920 US census in Pilot Knob Township, Harper County, Kansas. He was dead by the 1930 US census, when his wife Nora was found living in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois as a widow.
I am not that familiar with Kansas research. Are there death records for 1923? Would the cemetery have a record of the burial, and thus, possibly more information? I could call the cemetery, I suppose. Any help you could give me to clarify this man would be appreciated.
I guess I thought you lived in/near the Harper Cemetery or in Harper County. I just thought I should ask.
Thank you for any help.

Hello--I'm helping a young cousin in the Duvall family with her ancestors. Notice you are managing the Findagrave entry for Owen Duvall's wife, Tinnie
Bird (Carroll) Duvall. Are you kin to the Duvalls or the Carrolls?
My great-grandmother was Owen Duvall's mother.

|Donna Fitch||Mary Bebermeyer|
I was trying to fulfill a photo request for Mary Bebermeyer in Harper Cemetery in Harper, KS and I found that there are 3 Mary Bebermeyers listed for this cemetery. There are 4 listed in Find A Grave so I think this one is an invalid entry. There is not a listing in the cemetery book for a Mary born in 1880. I thought you might like to either delete this site or check it out. Thanks, Donna
