I enjoy this site and I hope that people will benefit from the inscriptions I post. I have been doing genealogy for 30 yrs. Reading tombstone inscriptions is one of my favorite things to do. I think it is a shame that much information is lost due to destruction of our cemeteries. That's why Find A Grave is such a help to searchers. |
I will be happy to do transfers of direct lines as per FAG guidelines(parents, siblings, grandparents and great grandparents). Anyone else, I'll be happy to make corrections or additions. (Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins are not considered by FAG as direct lines)

|Chuck (Rhodes) Freese||Re: John Rhoades|
I am grateful to find you have documented the gravesite of my great uncle,John Rhoades, memorial# 55072722 in the South Bend Cemetery,Armstrong County.
He was the infant son of my great-grandparents, Lewis and Matilda Rhoades, buried in the St.John Cemetery also in Armstrong Co. We traveled there recently to do research and confirm the last name spelling change that has taken place over the years.
I wondered if you could amend the spelling of Matilda's name in his memorial for the record ?
I want to thank you for your care and concern for family history. My current and future family offers our gratitude for your compassion !
