I am retired so I have time to walk through the cemeteries and take pictures. In mid July 2010 I started a project to record as many memorials for the cemeteries in my county (Broome, NY) with pictures that I could. This project is done. I have moved on to cemeteries in Susquehanna PA and Tioga NY.

The following link will show all the cemeteries in the surrounding counties photographed (by me and others!) and added to Find A Grave:

Broome County NY Cemeteries
Tioga County NY Cemeteries
Susquehanna County PA Cemeteries
Have started Chemung County - no map yet.

Cemeteries Statistics as of 07/20/2015 (by County):
.................... Broome NY .... Tioga NY
# Cems .......... 145 ............... 102
# Cmplt ......... 145 ............... 101
% Cmplt ....... 100.0 .............. 99.0
Memorials .... 187,945 ......... 66,972
w/photos ....... 93.8% ........... 85.7%

................. Chemung NY . Susquehanna PA
# Cems ............ 125 ............... 191
# Cmplt ............... 4 ................. 53
% Cmplt ............ 3.2 ............... 24.5
Memorials .... 102,423 ........... 58,041
w/photos ........ 21.5% ........... 78.9%

If I have added memorials for any of your relatives, please thank me by visiting a nearby cemetery and add the gravestones there for others to find their relatives.

You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for private uses. For public use, you may use them as long as I am given credit. For commercial use, please contact me.

If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me using the edit tab. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

I am submitting edits to move middle names/initials and/or maiden names from the first name field to the proper field. I am typically doing 20-40 per day for a cemetery. If you are receiving them and would like more or less per day, just let me know.

Thank you for all the pictures
I really appreciate all the work you've done adding pictures to Findagrave, especially Tioga Co. NY. I grew up there but now live in Florida. I have some gravestone photos from the area, but not all that I want. Thanks to you, there are many more grave photos of friends and family. So thanks again!

Thank you for your ongoing amazing effort to fix the middle initials in so many of my entries. The transfer to spreadsheet left the middle initials, especially if they have a period after them, in the first name field, and it was very problematic to fix in large sheets, since it messed up all the rest to work at it.

I'm using a different program now but it may still pop up. I see you're working the B's and frankly I'm amazed you're still at it!

Yours in OCD -

Walter Family
I am related to the Walter family that are buried at the Riverhurst Cemetery, Glen Aubrey Cemetery and Maine Cemetery---Arthur Eugene and his wife Jennie (Zimmmer) Walter. They had a daughter Thelma ? Walter who was born around 1912 and died around 1927-she was only 15 or 16 years of age. Do you know if there is a headstone for her in any of the other cemeteries in that area as she is not listed in either of these as of now? Thanks your you help. Also could you please transfer Irving D. Walter, his wife Bessie M. and Irving parents--Horace F. Walter his wife Phebe Morse, there are to many to list. If any of their children are also under you could you transfer them also. (William B., Alvin, Asaph Benjam, Jason, George WAshington, Phoebe Ann Slack, Horace F., Jr., Rozannah Smith, Philo G. Charles J., Lucy Jane, and Caroline M. Thelman) see I said there were many. Thanks so much for you help in this project as I am trying to get all of them hooked together and their children.
