I have been wandering around cemeteries for most of my 50+ years, mostly because they are beautiful landscapes (I am a landscape architect by profession), but also because they are full of history and stories. I started work on my family history about 20 years ago, and have been aided over the years by other family members who wrote a lot of information down and kept a lot of things like photo albums, deeds, and other ephemera. I am so happy that people started websites like Findagrave and hope I can contribute. USE OF ANY OF THE PHOTOS THAT I HAVE POSTED ON FINDAGRAVE IS HEREBY GIVEN, AND NO WRITTEN CITATION IS NECESSARY.|

Thank you very much for taking the photos of George and Hazel Huntington in the New Fernwood Cemetery, and posting them on their Memorial Page. My long lens is not long enough to take the photos from Seattle. Bob Doughty, Seattle, Washington

Thank you Karen, for adding the grave photo to the memorial for Joseph William Ineson, my 1st cousin 4x removed. I see also on the stone his wife Lillian B. (Caswell) Ineson with dates: 1874 -1912. I will add her to findagrave.

The only photo I had of Salem and his wife I added to their memorials. Keep up the good work!

I see that you added photos for Salem Ballard and his wife Harriet. Are you related? Harriet's father, Thomas Warner is in my direct line.

I hate to be glib, but I have no idea. I took my information from a list of who was buried in the cemetery and entered the data. That does not mean that everyone entered into the computer is in the cemetery. In fact, I have photographed headstones and many of them were not on the list. Most generally the names on the list are buried in the cemetery under the name listed, but that does not mean there has not been a mistake. Could she had been married again and went under her new name? It is really her? Just because she had the first same name and was born in the same year and died in the same year...does that really make it her or is it someome else? Wish I could help you more. Good luck in you research and thank you for visiting the Find a Grave site and wanting the information to be correct.

Thank you very much for the fantastic headstone photos and also, thank you for posting them so they can be viewed in the larger format. That really helps when stones like these are so old. I appreciate that you took the time to find and photograph the stones. Again, Thank you!
