You are most welcome... I have made a note for myself to go back in mid spring as there is blue periwinkle planted around their marker and it would truly make a wonderful picture... so happy to have been able to help

I see you submitted an edit to remove Belleville as the place of birth for John Dodge. Is his obituary incorrect? How do you know it's not Belleville?

RE: Johnnie B. Schram # 113429023
Hello Norman,

In the public family tree (Massey Family of United States & Canada) I made on Ancestry, I actually have (had) Johnnie B. Schram and Millie M Schram listed twice with question marks of relationship under Egbert Dodge. I did it this way because of how their Find A Gave memorials had them listed. However, I have correct it now that you have concur with my findings and changed their memorials.

Both Johnnie B Schram and Millie M Schram are not listed by JEFFERSON COUNTY, NEW YORK, BROOKSIDE CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS, WATERTOWN, I did a complete search of the inscriptions before I sent you my findings.

As for Johnnie B Schram his birth as per the 1865 NY Census was 1863. His mother Phoebe L Dodge
was single on the 1860 US Census. Thus, the birth year on the memorial stone was inscribed incorrectly with 1853. You might want to change his birth year and make a note on his memorial. You also, might want to re-link him to his grandparents because his mother does not have a memorial and I do not know where she is buried.

I am glad I could help.

Lydia Ingals Dodge
Hello Norman,

I do not post my email address on public websites. However, I sent Lydia Smith (Ingalls) Brintnall Find A Grave memorial contributor Bruce Coyne a message yesterday and if you look at her memorial you will see he added the information. I was hoping to clear up any possible confusion about parentage of her children's memorials on Find A Grave.

I have been doing genealogy research since 1998 and recently started an extended research of the Massey Family of the USA and Canada because a distant relative of mine married into the Canadian Massey Family. From this research I found that Lydia Ingals (Ingalls) parents were Jonathan Ingalls (son of John Ingalls and Hannah Massey) and Lydia Smith married on 13 November 1803 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. They had six known children; two males and four females and Lydia was either their second youngest or youngest child, her exact birth year has not been confirmed by me. Jonathan and Lydia (Smith) Ingalls migrated to Watertown, Jefferson, New York after their marriage. Johnathan, her father, was in the militia during the War of 1812, captured on the 28th of May 1813 at Stony Point, Hendersons Harbor, Jefferson, New York and ee died on 14 Aug 1813 in Québec, Québec, Canada; buried in an unmarked grave in the cemetery of Holy Trinity Church. The cemetery no longer exists. Lydia's mother remarried a James Brintnall (date unknown) and had one son with him.

I hope this clears up any confusion about Lydia Ingals (Ingalls) parents. If you have different information about her parents, I would appreciate hearing about them.

I found Dodge Family Association website very interesting however, I was not able to find any information about Egbert Dodge and Lydia Ingals (Ingalls) except their memorial stone photographs with possible parentage notation for Egbert . .

Best wishes,

Their suggestion: (2/9/2015)
Hello: You leave me no e-mail address so this is the only way I have toreach you

You asked me to make a correction for Lydia Ingals b: 1813 in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York by add her mother of Lydia Brintnall Memorial # 93353408.

I really do not think you want me to do this.

Hi Norman,

There were about twelve members of this family in this area including a Nona Dodge and a couple named Quinn. I took pictures of all of them.

You're welcome. I was just going through the Wilmington Vital Records and making sure all the people who were listed in the VRs were in the cemeteries and updating some of my Wilmington records too.

I get kind of nervous sending a lot of edits to people I dont want you or anyone to think I'm being a pain. I just love to do research and also love seeing the older memorials more complete.
