Linda Dodge- Clinton, Me.
Hi Norman,
Walked the lot/plot listed for your photo request of Linda Dodge's stone today. Not seeing any Dodge stones in that area. Would there be another name on the stone, or do you know if the stone is flat and thus might be under grass and soil? We will continue to look, just wondering if there was any info. you might be able to share.
Best regards-

Thanks for the info for Charles. I put a NOTE on his memorial and posted his two draft card registrations. Somehow he got four years younger between the wars.

It is not the first time I've noticed that happening.

Parker memorials
Hi Norman,

I was happy to find the Parker memorials for Brookside Cemetery in West Boxford. If you are not related to the following two people, would you consider transferring management to me? They are my great-grandparents.

Walter Parker (#102729433)
Lola Parker (#102729386)

Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Nancy Borman

The stone of Lottie, and husband George Wakley,
needs a cleaning- but hopefully you can see the names and dates ok. Thank you for your kind words about our photos. :)

Yes, sadly due to age and weather stones fall- if they fall back they can still be readable until the earth reclaims them. And there is the tragic ongoing events of stones being knocked over on purpose. :(
The case with Charles and Florence's stones is that they are flat stones- over time some dirt and grass covered the stone belonging to Charles- it is actually a surprise we were able to find the stone belonging to Florence as it was not only covered with dirt and grass, but had sunk into the earth- about 6 inches on one side, and almost 8 inches on the other side. We hope you are pleased with the photos.

Photos Of Dodge Stones- Clinton, Me.
Question for you- we always take several photos of all stones and lots/plots we photograph.
Would you like us to email you all the photos?
Florence, Charles, Cora and Howard are in the same lot/plot.
Also found a Susan Dodge (wife of Abner Dodge- guess he had 3 wives?) in the OLD Village Cemetery. Could not find a memorial for her- so we added one with a photo.

RE: Dodge Memorials- Clinton, Me.
Florence Dodge- her flat stone was about 6 inches under the dirt & grass. Her stone is next to her husband's and closer to the main Dodge headstone.

Took some "looking with a soft probe" but we found it! After much digging ect. her stone now sees the light of day.

We will let the person who maintains her memorial know she should be added to the Old Village Cemetery. Hope you like all the photos- sadly we had to dig a hole to get to Florence's stone, so it does not look very tidy.
