I'm a dedicated & fanatic family historian & have been on THE QUEST since 1955. I can concentrate on my ancestors but get easily side-tracked by in-laws & the cousins of cousins of cousins, if you know what I mean, & if you love family history as much as I do, then you do know!|
As of Jan 2013 I DO have a new camera & am trying to get the hang of it all! Which means that I believe I'm able to take on photo requests in the general Victor Valley area!
I've been retired since the year 2000 & now have plenty of time to consolidate my voluminous amount of research.

Thanks for your help.
|Phil Cushman||David W. Johnson Find A Grave Memorial# 112395128|
You have listed David W. Johnson as buried in Marion UMC Cemetery based on his death certificate although I don't think the cemetery on the death certificate is really legible. However, his obit from the Leaf Chronicle 14 July 1920 says that "The funeral and interment took place Saturday at the McGehee burying ground near Oakwood." David's grandsons Roy Thomas and Gordon Smith are both buried in McGee Cemetery (as listed on Find A Grave). In 1959 Roy Thomas Smith told his uncle John William Johnson in an affidavit that I have that David W. Johnson had been buried in McGee but did not have a gravestone.
Phil (David's great grandson)

Syd if you have no direct attachment to Alexander C. Yarbrough in Alex Yarbrough Cemetery. Would you consider transferring him to me. He is my 2nd great grandfather. Would appreciate it. Thanks

Thank you for the information on Emily. We added the info to her bio, and updated her memorial to reflect the new data.
|Tammy Brust||Frank Marion Atkins|
I linked Frank with his parents. Would you like management of his memorial?
|suzan gordon||Harry Parker|
I got your mail about moving this memorial...I understood what you were trying to say but because I don't live in the area I transferred to memorial to you. Hope you don't mind.
