Bio and Links
Bio Photo For what it is worth, I want to thank all the selfless members who volunteer to honor and respect those who have passed before us. To sincerely thank them for the countless hours that they have contributed walking the cemeteries photographing, creating & or maintaining memorials, and sharing that information with the millions that would not be able to see it otherwise.

A special sincere thanks to all the people that have transferred memorials of my family members to me. I want to wish everyone a very healthy and prosperous 2016

I find it such an honor to be able to join people that have been separated for so long, especially children that died at birth, or passed at a very young age, often separated by many miles and years. Even if just virtual connection it always gives me a special feeling knowing that others might not have to dig around to find they even existed in the first place.

Please remember that I always try to portray as accurate data as possible and that I am a volunteer doing this out of the kindness of my heart. I have joined thousands of individual graves with their loved ones that are not even related to me and do this in hopes that it helps others in the future, please remember this before jumping to harsh conclusions and that this is also a work in progress and we can all make mistakes or interpret documents differently.

I thought I might borrow what Jeff Gonyea on his Find a Grave profile:

"We don't "own" the memorials we manage - they are not ours. We may create them, we may update them, we may transfer them to others - we are but stewards. They are Find A Grave memorials of human beings, departed. They are not "friends" on a social media network website to be collected like baseball trading cards. And there's no prize for the one who dies with the most.

The reward (for me) comes from maintaining the most accurate and dignified memorials I can. What we record becomes history, and a record in someone else's family tree. We have a responsibility to do a good job of it. It's a privilege and honor."

Well put Jeff, and I just wish more of the people could soak these words of wisdom in.

*If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates.

You can email info@findagrave.com if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!*

Wesley Fredrick
Please explain the first sentence of your e-mail - "the other memorial" - and whose maiden name was Fredrick ?
Thank you, Jean

"I have written the other memorial but her maiden name was also Fredrick.
She married James G Nelson after Wesley died. She also divorced James Nelson in 1937 in Alachua County Florida, I believe they married in 1926
Her parents were Frances 'Fannie' Gray 18451904 & John Almarene Frederick 18481920.
I digress, the point of my note is that she had many children with Wesley and if I have time later I will try to link them but maybe you could make a note in his bio.
Dates may change
Clarence E. (1895-)
Arthur R. (1897-)
William A. (1899-)
Victor H. (1901-)
Wesley Edgar Jr. (1903-1933)
Aubrey Leonard (1905-1977)
Horace (1908-)
Lillie M. (1910-)"

I am so sorry you took offense to the word "Consort"
but it is clearly inscribed on her tombstone, which I have transcribed and added to her memorial page.

I didn't write that about her, I wrote that according to her tombstone.

The word Consort used on ts inscriptions was very common beford the Civil War.

Benjamin Hawkins 1816-1844
Thank you for looking in the Brigham City Cemetery for Benjamin Hawkins. I now fear that the info I had was incorrect. Benj. has been hard to follow and his life had many unlikely events. This is one more event in his life that may be incorrect. I did not mean to send you on a hunt for someone who wasn't there. Sorry, thanks for your time.

Edwin Ahrens
I have added the children of Edwin & Elsie to Edwin's memorial. I omitted the stepchildren. It would be great if the person who made the memorial for Elsie would supply the dates for her children with DeBok.
