I have been happily researching my family and my husband's for over twenty years. I use every means possible including DNA and visiting cemeteries around the country. When I discovered this web site I wanted to add what I could to the data base. This is an excellent site for genealogists, I love it.|
I live in Woodstock, Illinois, within walking distance to two large cemeteries. This is a real plus for me.

Thank you for your reply. On Find a Grave checked for a stone for Anna Fredrickson with Arthur and Margaret Fredrickson with Grant Fredrickson but did not find those. Not sure if Grant is buried with Arthur's big stone.
I think there is a stone for both Anna and Margaret. Know Anna is not buried there but she passed in 1988. Think her ashes went back to Sweden. Margaret passed in 2001 in IL but not sure why she is not buried there.
Do you know if a picture is put on Find A Grave if there is not a death date on the stone? Or if there is no one buried for that stone? Just curious. Sally

I am not certain I understand how Find A Grave works. I am wondering if you are related to Arthur Fredrickson or if you just put the photo on Find A Grave at someone's request? Sally

Hello. I would like to use your photos for Thomas J. Rider. I am researching his family line as ancestors of my grandfather Frank Thomas Ryder of Chicago, Sioux City and Omaha. Thank you.

Hi thanks so much for your work. I've been wondering where he was buried for a while. His name is Orange A. Kent and he owned the hotel on the square in 1850. He was also involved in the famous yet very misunderstood "Kent Tragedy" in Meacham's Grove, Bloomingdale Township, DuPage County.
Any chance you can add Orange to his profile? I need to come out and find his grave. Many people have his birth as 2-24-1811 and you have it as 1810. looking for his birth record.

I was wondering if you could transfer Ida Mead (#67325552) and her husband Owen Mead (#67325584) to me; they are my great-great-grandparents.
Thank you, Kendra

Thank you for updating John's site with his date of death. His existence was such a mystery to our family. Good to know he has not been forgotten.
