I love Find a Grave! In addition to all of the wonderful information and helping us locate our ancestors, I feel it is a way to bring the deceased back together as a family. Being able to link relatives to one another gives me a great sense of joy. |
I am happy to transfer management of any memorials that aren't for my own family members, just ask! If they are within my family and I have a closer relationship, I will be happy to add any information you have. I wholeheartedly disagree with those who will only transfer based on "Find a Grave guidelines." In my opinion, those guidelines should only be relied upon when there is a dispute, not as a blanket rule. It actually makes me very happy when someone stumbles upon an ancestor that I added and wants to take ownership. That's what this site is about -- reconnecting! :)

Hello - I have a photo of his grave but there is no room on the memorial page. :( Please let me know if a space becomes available and I will add it. Kimberly

Is there any chance of you going to the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church Cemetery to get pictures?

You are very welcome, it makes me extremely happy to know I helped. If you have your email posted I'm going to send you the Girard picture. That way, if and when you make a connection, you can post it. You can use my pictures for whatever you want. Im not "married" to things. I suggest you call the cemetery office, or better yet, write to them including a self addressed stamped envelope and a small donation ($2.00 possibly to put toward their ink and paper fees). Give them the location, names and dates of death and they can print out all the information they have on the graves. You can find out who originally bought the plot and when the stones were bought and also if anyone else is buried there who is not on the headstones. I have a feeling there are more people there. It might tell you who the Girards are as well. They don't have birth dates but they have ages when the person died so you can figure it out.
Hi, I fulfilled your requests for the above people, all engraved on one headstone at location Section S, Row 16, Lot 46. However, there was another headstone for the same burial plot with Joseph and Margaret Girard engraved. If they are your family, you probably know who these people are. Let me know when you make the memorials and I will post the photo. Thank So!
Hi again! Well, the snow melted! I went back today and searched the entire of section 25 and adjacent sections at Eglington can could not find Frank and Rachael Russell... Just William and Eleanor. There is a big blank space next to William and Eleanor. Maybe they don't have markers? Or maybe the office gave you the wrong information. Sorry! Rich.

Very glad to be able to help. I like to shoot and add any other possible family members' graves when I see them. I check with the office, whenever possible, to see if any unmarked graves are there too. I know the families will appreciate it, as you do, but it's so gratifying to get thanks such as yours. Take good care!

In case I forgot to send you her date of birth, it is 14 July 1857.
