I love Find a Grave! In addition to all of the wonderful information and helping us locate our ancestors, I feel it is a way to bring the deceased back together as a family. Being able to link relatives to one another gives me a great sense of joy. |
I am happy to transfer management of any memorials that aren't for my own family members, just ask! If they are within my family and I have a closer relationship, I will be happy to add any information you have. I wholeheartedly disagree with those who will only transfer based on "Find a Grave guidelines." In my opinion, those guidelines should only be relied upon when there is a dispute, not as a blanket rule. It actually makes me very happy when someone stumbles upon an ancestor that I added and wants to take ownership. That's what this site is about -- reconnecting! :)

You're the BEST...appreciate it!

Thanks, I made correction.
May I have your permission to add a photo of the gravestone to the memorials you have created? I am doing a survey of Elm Grove and adding photos and memorials to Find A Grave. If I find any other of your memorials in Elm Grove, may I add photos there as well?

I am truly thrilled that you are taking such a wonderful interest in family roots and genealogy.
It is through our family lineage that we grow to appreciate all of the sacrifices made throughout the generations!
Keep up the ongoing interest and the excitement!

|Matthew Waldron||RE: Madison Waldron|
I looked back over my info and couldnt find a madison waldron in my family. Im think I might of put in a photo request only to later find shes not in my family line. I may find later on that she is in my line but for now it looks like shes not.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I'm clueless as to who the Jones family is. I can't make any family connections to the Brickell clan.
John A. Jones, (wife Emeline, son Enus) follow the Brickelles in the 1850 census. Being that census takers usually went door-to-door, their place was more than likely adjacent to Georges's. Shows John as a shoemaker. The 1860 census has George living with his son, so ends the neighbor Jones thing.
What I'd give to have a cemetery on my property!
