|Craig Grover||RE: Mary F. Grover|
Thank You for the info. Better sources of info. now verses decades ago
|Craig Grover||Mary F. Grover|
I submitted a edit for Mary's parents. I did research on the family of Myers. I know that they are her parents. I, however, have conflicting info on where they are buried. Some info mentioned a cemetery in vera cruz, in while others mention a cemetery by the same name in Rockford, Indiana. I have not been able to verify the correct cemetery. Maybe you can help me out.
|Craig Grover||Oscar Grover|
Thank You for the information on Joseph Oscar Grover. My Grandfather, Emery, called some of his Aunts & Uncles by their middle name. Charlotte was called Aunt Jane; Andrew was called Uncle Frank, etc. All the children did not go by their middle name.
The cemetery markers all went by their real names except for Joseph Oscar Grover. His marker simple said Oscar J. Grover. It is also said he was the Town Sheriff Of Hartford City. ORAL History of the Grover Family. Are we related.
Or close anyway? I was born in 1958 and I am thinking you weren't long after that?

It's misspelled on Ancestry. It's right here on Find A Grave. :-) It is Alan.

Well, I appreciate it and I guess you know I meant 1884 instead of 1994. lol!

Lol, thanks for catching this stuff. I am sure I had a reason to put the 1994 date, but sure can't find it now.

Well, not sure now. Should I go by the death cert or the obit? It says 12pm, but the obit says early in the morning on the 17th.

No, if you read the obit, it says he became ill on the 16th and died early on the 17th. And they buried him on the same day! :o

I will do that. :-) We are cousins then, I think. Not good with all that.
