Bio Photo i martin wm. johnson was born july 6, 1948 in black hills general hospital, rapid city so. dakota. son of melvin h. johnson & loretta d. (swanson) johnson. they were born & buried in glencoe, mcleod co. minn. mt. auburn glencoe city cemetery. their findagrave no's. are 104500005 & 104500617. we moved from le sueur, minn. in 1962 to belvidere, boone co. illinois. i graduated from belvidere high in 1967. i got a varsity letter in track by placing first & second place in four events the first track meet every year against rochelle high. broke 180 yard belvidere low hurdle record 20.2 seconds, may 16, 1967 at beyers stadium in rockford. i graduated from rock valley college, rockford illinois in 1971. honorable discharge from u.s. reg. marines in 1968. immigrated to australia in 1971. honorable discharge from u.s. reg. army in 1975. illinois real estate brokers lic. 1976. martin johnson house painting business 1980 - present. interior painting only now. my dtr. is tara ann johnson born 1983 in rockford, illinois. her mother is julie ann bingenheimer (not julie (lee) bingenheimer). ive traced ancestors & indexed books, court house records & church records,cemeteries etc. since 1969. over 400 projects by myself. im tracing johnson, swanson = svendsen, knick, dobbratz, grabowitz, mielke, pollmann, prey, schuft, wentzloff, rogers = rathje, zarnke etc.. and my dtrs. bingenheimer, murrin, yerk = gehrke, behnke, hill, naatz, guse etc.. ancestors. i have a home library of thousands of books, microfilm, microfiche, maps etc.. i have lived at 514 w. menominee st. since 1968. my brother is wm. m. johnson in rockford, illinois & half sister is phylis anne johnson = mrs. victor rohloff in le sueur, minn. see other pictures on facebook. www.genealogytrails.com has my indexes & transcriptions for boone co., illinois area counties & mcleod & sibley co., minn. etc....

Yes, I have Christopher Jungklaus' baptismal record with the wax stamp being the Church of Marne. I had several of his letters translated as well as the baptismal paper. His last name was spelled with a k on the baptismal paper and also the same for his Father's name. I understand that the c was changed to a k by some families, as they believed there was an illegitimate line in the Jungclaus family. I found more information on other family members by having 19 letters translated to English. Thank goodness my Grandmother saved much of that stuff. Carol
