Stephen & Julia Ann Washburn
I am confused. In 1910, the stones in the Elmsford Cemetery in Greensburgh Twp., on east side of the Saw Mill River Road, south of church were transcribed & Stephen Washburn's stone was transcribed as: name 22 Feb 1800 - 11 Sept 1860; Julia Ann, his wife, 15 Aug 1810-7 May 1841. However, the findagrave data lists 1894 & wife of Stephen Washburn.
Abby Jane Chatterton is the 2nd wife of Stephen Washburn & the findagrave data lists her as the widow of Stephen Washburn & Abby's data reads: "Abby Jane Washburn 4/20/1811 - 3/16/1872.
I am researching the Chatterton line. Thank you for any guidance & the like to aid in clearing up my confusion! /s/gladys

McGowan and Brunner Family
Hi Pat,
My grandparents, Joseph T. Brunner d. 1947; and Hannah Farrell Brunner,d.abt.1915; they lived in Harrison, New York. I have been unable to find their cemetery. Do you know of a cemetery near Harrison that I could research. No records through the clerk's office in that area.
Their daughter, Teresa A. McGowan and Husband,
Harry J. McGowan are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook. Would it be possible to obtain photos of their gravestone(Memorial #
134580991 and 136369338. If you have any other photos of St. Mary's, I would appreciate them.
Thank you for your assistance. Carol

RE: Pierces at Chappaqua
Hi Pat,
I was just checking my wall messages and hope I responded to your message about adding more Pierce memorials. I will definitely check it out. My 4th great grandparents and 5th great grandparents (Pierces) are still an unknown burial out in Westchester County but I hope someday their burial sites will turn up. My great grandmother, Isabella Pierce Foshay, had no luck finding them which I discovered in her notes. Being Quakers, I gather some Quakers preferred a blank stone so who knows if that is the case. I am ever grateful for you and others who have diligently spent the time visiting and documenting graves.

Thanks for responding. So still up in the air about her. Guess I will need to make a few phone calls to verify if she is my Anna.

Anna L. Searles # 42217288
Hi Pat,

I was wondering is there any other information on her. I believe her to be the daughter of Jonathan S Searles # 26133918 and Jemima Ett Brady Searles # 26133890. Just thought I would ask in case this is her married name.
