Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy research for over 16 years. I enjoy taking photos and adding the information to this site in hope that it will help someone researching their family. I especially enjoy filling volunteer photo requests because it combines my love of photography, genealogy and volunteerism. If you see any mistakes or have additions to my postings, please let me know and I'll make corrections. I reserve the copyright of all my pictures.

I willingly make transfers within the 4 generation "Find A Grave" Guidelines which are:
Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR EXACT RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.

If you are seeking transfer to "have all your family together" ~ use the virtual cemetery button. Then all of the memorials will be in the same "cemetery", and you can look at them daily.

Tip: Please include the gravesite location when requesting a photo. This can be done by calling the cemeteries directly.

RE: Holy Cross
Hi BK, Welcome to HC and thank you for your help. I hadn't been working on specific sections. With the requests on the site and finding older obituarys and names I was taking photos and uploading. Please if you should see i duplicated any of yours or anyother post please let me know. It isn't done purposely. If i see a name and find the grave listings I post and sometimes the names overlap. I do make every effort to check. Keep in touch.

I can send you the document I worked from if you want it. It is an excel document. I tried to verify the names but it is a long list and I did the best I could.

Edward Abner
Thanks for the information on my great great grandfather (at least I am hoping this is him). I need a bit more information to match so will write for the death certificate. If it is him he belongs to the following:
Helen Abner b 1851 D 28 Jan 1895 buried with daughter at The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn.
Elsie Abner
B 17 Aug 1888 Brooklyn
D 26 Nov 1914 Brooklyn
Edward and two of his sons were cake bakers in both New Haven and Brooklyn. Just can't locate him after his youngest daughter Elsie passed in 1914. Thanks for the work. Pat

Cara, thank you so very much for the transfers. I apologize if my husband's request came off as aggressive. I have been trying to get the transfer of his mother's memorial since at least June and have been very frustrated with that. I also had noticed that an edit for the other Louise Haughton had been accepted right away but not the transfers. So I told him about these as well. Anita Hansen

Thank you for the additional information and reply. I appreciate having the information and knowing a bit of detail.

Again, thanks for the headstone photo; I have been sharing it with family all afternoon. We all appreciate your efforts in doing this.

Conway grave photo
You recently fulfilled my request for a photo of the grave marker for my Grandmother, Bridget Conway. The headstone gives information about her husband, my Grandfather, Thomas Conway. there is no mention of Bridget.
I can see hints of flat ground markers on each side of the headstone. Did you by any chance take a photo of these? I'm wondering if one is for Bridget and the other, perhaps, for their son?
If by chance you captured these, I would love to see them.
My sincere and deepest thanks for your time in taking the photo. It means a great deal to me. I will never be able to get to this cemetery to view the grave in person so the photo is a very important thing for me to have. Thanks you so very much.

Many thanks
Hello - I want to send a special thanks for taking the picture of the Patrick Crown family at Holy Cross in Brooklyn. Patrick and Ann Crown were the original immigrants of my Irish side of the family, and it's so wonderful, at last, to know where they are buried and see their family monument. Thank you so much for your time and effort - much appreciated!
