This is just another way that working together we can accomplish a great deal in documenting the history of many. |
Special thanks to a number of people who have contributed a great deal of information and/or pictures that I've posted to memorials in Wisconsin; Kentucky; and Ron and Ann Miller: Hillside Cemetery, North Loup, Valley, Nebraska. I requested and was given permission by Ron and Ann to add specific pictures from their Gallery.
Whenever I visit graves online, I like to leave a flower so that friends and family of the deceased will know that their loved one was thought of that day. Most of these people are not related to me in any way.

I do not live in MO. I have added memorials for family members known to be buried there (per their DCs). Sometimes no marker was placed because the family could not afford it.

I had trouble with that edit. Thanks for catching my goof.
I met a relative of Bertha's at Plainfield Cemetery. According to the relative, Bertha was part of THE Rockefeller family. Her family disowned her when she married "a poor Wisconsin farmer". I tried to verify the information, but I really couldn't. It's an interesting story, though.
I'm getting close to being finished with Plainfield Cemetery. It's at 97% photographed now with about 102 memorials without a photo (started at 47% in May). My goal is to get it down to about 60 memorials without a photo.
Thanks for all your help!

Will do. We had a reunion of mostly NG Clement family members back in Central Nebraska in June. A person I had never met before moved back there from the west coast and retyped the Ben Clement and the NG Clement books into one computer document. She handed out several copies in 3-ring binders. My brother took a copy for us back to Denver, so I don't currently have a copy. Deb is going to try to get each family to update the information much as my mom did for the NG book. I would hope she can find a way to make it available by a share drive. I will set you know as soon as plans get solid

|James ||RE: new Clement Book|
The information about James and his family in the Clement book published back in 1939 was supplied by Zoe Fern Clement Harris. She had a brother Orrin. I assume that such information as was included in 1939 will be retyped and included in the new project.

You might be interested in getting a copy of the new book that covers all the history of the Ben Clement family. I can provide an address where one can be obtained. Hope you are well!
