I always feel grounded walking among the graves in these peaceful places. Especially the older and forgotten ones that don't get visitors very often. Every stone tells a story.
I take pride in the memorials I have brought to Find A Grave because I went out and got them, photographed them and entered the data. Were it not for many Gravers like me doing the same thing, Find A Grave would not be as great a resource it is. So when you ask me to transfer one of my memorials to you... I now have a one for one policy. I want you to create a new memorial for Find A Grave first. You don't even have to transfer them to me. Just find a grave, create a memorial, and let me know the number. | |

 | Carrie P Shackford Scott - Thanks for posting on Find A Grave. I find a lot of very helpful Shackford information at this site.
Wondering if this posting may be referring to Caroline P Usher m. Robert F Shackford b. 31 December 1859 died 21 July 1925? Dates are very close but seem to be off a year from the data I've gathered over the years.

 | Fred Thompson Thank you so much for the photo. Fred is my great Grandfather. He was burried with his second wife. (First being Ruth E. Richardson). He had 2 children with Ruth, no children with his second wife. I think she had first marriage children but I would have to check with my Uncle. If you ever need a photo from a metro Detroit site please let me know :)Added by Balto on May 25, 2013 6:56 AM | | | Cherie
 | Peter Folsom Hi! I am a direct descendant of Peter Folsom, and I want to thank you for fulfilling my request. I was shocked that it was completed so quickly. It would be quite a trip for me to get there from my home in Michigan; but maybe some day I will get to see the New England states. Thanks again!!!!!Added by Cherie on Apr 24, 2013 5:59 AM | | | Just A Beginner
 | Josephine Bowen Hi, Just so you know her birth year was 1905 on the stone.
