Bio and Links
Bio Photo My genealogical journey began 6 years ago as I was moving my mother's clothes. I discovered an old newspaper article that substantiated an earlier finding I had made at my grandmother's house. The articles told a story of how my ancestors had come to Oklahoma from Florida over the historic Trail Of Tears and founded a small settlement called Brunertown. Since that time I have had a special affinity for African-Native American history. See www.seminolenation-indianterritory.org/benjamin_f_bruner_obituary.htm and www.seminolenation-indianterritory.org/caesar_bruner_freedman.htm and on www.African-nativeamerican.com the freedman burial grounds/Bruner/Turkeycreek/Rentie's

Find A Grave Memorial# 100023270
That is not my fathers marker. I don't know where you took the picture, but as you can see in the information, his middle name started with a E not L and the passed in 2009 not 1990. can you delete picture please

RE: William Gibson
i used the photo of B brown to show the sect/plot number and the photo that showed empty grass lots in 21-21-2, 3 and 4...there must be a mistake then for W gibson...as that Brown marker is where he should be....maybe he's in another location or has been moved??
