I came to Maryville TN to care from my Mom, who had come here 20 years before to care for her Mom. I spent a summer month here all during my childhood but never lived in the family "home place". Since coming here I've become engrossed in family history and find a grave was a place to find out quite a lot.|
I am related to many of my memorials, but if I have created a memorial for any of your relations, especially those only related to me by marriage, just let me know - I am always happy to transfer to a closer relative. If you want to request that I delete the memorial to your closely related loved one, please use the "suggest a correction form".

I've lost your email address but we corresponded a few years ago trying to prove Robert's Rev War service. I've been working on getting memorials linked to parents, etc. General searching turned up another one of Wilson's children who died during the war and is buried at Marietta. I've asked that he be linked.

Saw your memorial for Sarah Barnett Hartsfield.
My great grandfather was William Barnett Jackson of Lexington, Oglethorpe County, GA.
Looking for any info on the David Barnett family to learn which Barnett my great grandfather was named after.
Can you please contact me at the email below?

Thank you so much for the transfer of Grace & M.E Henry. Which one of the brothers was your great grandfather? I'm so impressed by all the research you have, I'm just getting started in documenting the genealogy and still learning all the resources that are available. I currently live in Athens and found that George's first wife and mother of the first 6 children,Rose, is buried less than a mile from my house. Do you know the story of why they were divorced? Are you still in the Maryville area? We are up there very often, if so it would be nice to meet.

I'm finding you have a lot of helpful information on the Duggan family. My great-great grandparents are George and Rose Duggan. Are you related to the Duggan's?
|Lola Durham||James O Smith's daughter Caroline|
I am interested if anyone has information on Caroline S. Smith the Daughter of James O. Smith and Miranda Elizabeth Arnold Smith. Would it be possible she is the Caroline Susan Smith (B: 18 Mar 1837 - D: after 1910) who married 1st Robert Augustus Wade and 2nd Leroy Cook? She is my husbands 2nd great grandmother.

You have the wrong picture on this memorial. This is my husbands family and would like to get this corrected. This is the picture info you have listed: Leona is seen here as a young woman with her parents, Mollie Yancey McMurtry and Jasper McMurtry, seven sisters and two brothers. Leona was the granddaughter of Champion Decatur Yancey and great-granddaughter of Percy Dow Yancey, b. 1815, Oglethorpe Co., GA. As you can see this family is in GA.
Thanks for your help

Would you have a clue where her husband, Fred Haun, is buried? I know he and Ann weren't together at the time of his death in 1962. You've pieced together so much I thought you might have a clue.
Thank you, Carol Cotton

I am doing work in Tow cemetery and I noticed you put a picture on the Leona Tow memorial. The picture you placed on there is not the right picture. Her maiden name was Hallmark. This picture is of a McMurtry family that you added the same picture to. Leona is on the 1910 census with her parents.. Dee L Hallmark, Hettie Hallmark and brother Oscar M Hallmark. Leona married Charles Tow in 1921. His is my husbands family. Thought you could take a look and see what you think. Thanks for your help. Janet Bertram Hallmark firstname.lastname@example.org

Hello again Linda, I posted another photo to the memorial you have for this gentleman. If you would rather that I remove it, please say so and I will. Just a bit clearer is all.
|Darrell Landrum||RE: Robert W Adams|
Hi Linda, such a shame really. People such as you and I and many other people are trying so hard to place as much information on memorials in the hopes of a loved one finding the memorial, only to run into a brick wall of anonymity. I have found several men in the Confederate section who have memorials set up that need to be corrected, but the person who posted the memorial is no longer alive. All I do in that case is to send an edit and wait for the people who run this site to get around to fixing an error, if they ever do. Sorry I can't be of more help.
