RE: Memorial # 138573407
Thanks. She was married in 1880, had her first child in 1881. There are several errors in census records of her as to age, but I have found census records not very reliable when it comes to ages, spellings of names and other data. It can make searching one's family tree difficult. Please include Memorial 138570545 (Inez duTreil) in your transfer. She was my great-aunt and sister of my grand-mother. Thanks

Memorial # 138573407
This memorial on findagrave.com is my great-grandmother. In the text you have on the memorial, you list her age as 61. That would have made her date of birth as 1874. This cannot be true as she married Felix Romagosa in 1880. I doubt seriously that she was 6 years old when married. Where did you get this info? The other info you list about husband and the one child is accurate. Are you a relative of this family? If not, why did you create this memorial? If not, please transfer management of this memorial to me. If you are a relative, please let me know your place in the family tree. You can check on Memorial # 89157523, Marie Lucille Romagosa Borne, my grandmother and daughter of Rosalie Castagnet Romagosa, to verify who I am.

Dr. James A. Foret, Sr had another sister who is not listed here. She is my dear mother, Lorraine Foret Larose. She is alive and well today. He also had another brother who was not listed herein. His name is Gerald Louis Foret and he passed in early August 2015. He was my uncle Jerry. What an exceptional group of fine men these brothers of hers were !!
Thanks for all the info.

RE: Cemetery confusion
Dewayne, St. Paschal' Cemetery is a Catholic Cemetery that is located at the rear of Hasley's Cemetery. You access St. Paschal's by driving through rows and rows of Hasley's. At the "entrance" of St. Paschal's, there is a sign as you can see on Find A Grave. This is the only divider that exists. I can see that one who is walking around can run into the other cemetery without realizing it. It is unfortunate that the duplicates exist. There is a similar situation in Richland Parish, La. with Hall and Rhymes Cemetery. There is a lady who takes care of Hasley's that can verify anyone buried in Hasley's 318-325-0496. So, any that you run across that is a duplicate, please see if you can request that these be corrected. Thanks!

Dr. C. B. Mericq
Thanks so much for the info. Dr. Mericq was my GG Grandfather. I walked the St. James cemetery and was unable to find his grave. I'll have to go back and see if I can find it. I don't know a lot about the Mericq side of the family but plan to dig into it at a later date. Thanks, Ronnie

RE: George Wilson Vicknair memorial
The Amite Cemetery - Mulberry Street Cemetery thing causes no end of confusion. I got an e-mail once from a woman in Michigan whose aunt ((still living, 90 years-old, sort of senile)) had forgotten where she buried her first husband. His obit said Amite Cemetery and we looked for him for weeks before we thought to cross the Highway and look for him in Mulberry Street Cemetery.
My husband and I are photographing all of Mulberry Street Cemetery, and the Vicknair photos are just a result of that project. We don't know them at all.
I grabbed your obit for George before it could get lost.
If you ever decide that you want to manage the Vicknairs, just send a request.
