A love of family and our roots led me to this site. There are so many forgotten or largely ignored burials.|
Interested in visiting ancestor's graves with GPS in hand, and collecting primary and other documentation for births, marriages, deaths, and other details such as military service. Let's not forget our ancestor's brothers, sisters, and their families!

I believe that maybe John R. and Sarah Latham VanZandt also had another child. A boy William VanZandt born in 1869.

Mr. Van Zandt,
I, too, would like to thank you for the Ross additions in Simpson/Rankin Counties, MS.
Would you or Ms. Lynda White be able to help me with my Ross family from Simpson County?
I assume you are kin to the Ross folks you added?
Thanks in advance!

I found a photo you provided of the graveyard where Elizabeth Simmons is buried. If I have done my research correctly, she is a great x many generations grandmother of my husband. He was excited to learn that one of his ancestors is buried so close to where we live in Middle Tennessee.
Do you know of any Simmons or Surety descendants living in the area?
Thanks for your work!

I'll be happy to transfer a family member to you.

Thanks for the wonderful memorial for Asa Ross Find A Grave Memorial# 37580060.
I am trying to connect him to Jessie Ross and Margaret Easterling, as his parents. Do you have any knowledge of this family.
Thank you for saving our history. Lynda

Find A Grave # shows Beni White as son of Thomas White buried in Old Beans Creek Cemetery Franklin TN. Beni White's Find A Grave has article identifying Beni White's pares asThomas White and Sara Ann Nicholson.
There is a Letty White gravestone in Old beans Cemetery which is of the same styleas gravestone for Thomas White, suggesting that Letty was the wife of Thomas White. Other researchers allege that this Thomas White was b. Feb 1771 Craven SC and married Letitia Estes abt 1795.
I think that the link of Beni White a son of the Thomas White b. in Old BeansCreek Cemetery may be suspect.

Can you tell me anything more about Lettie White? Is she buried near Thomas?

Are in the Atlanta History Center's archives, and digital files may be viewed online.
I was looking them up after I read some of my great grandfather's book journal, who lived across the street from them, and were good friends.
Many good wishes in your journey to preserve your history.

Do you have any additional info about Van Zandt Cemetery in Grayson Co. TX? Location? Private land? I have photo requests in for Abraham & Hannah Van Zandt (#64451145 & 64451280). A photo volunteer has requested more precise info and I am at a loss. I thought perhaps you would know since you created these memorials.
